the bible is the way to truth. Can you be satisified with the bible? On certian cases, you can be. Many situations has been in the bible. A open-minded individual has chocies in the bible. It was a choice in the bible but a illusion choice when Elijah Muhammad and many of their followers including Malcolm X was pick for inspiration from the bible on black people's issues because they were muslims looking into the bible. The bible speak for itself and nowhere else does it associate. It is usually done by the spirit with no association of man's understanding. We did have recognize man is the problem but man is not the problem. We associate with a government that has to be overtaken with truth. The white supermacy is not where we look for help. Muslims and foreigners attend to make that effect for the people. The Black movement is to overcome the white supermacy by God. I really think this is the real plan God is setting forward for the black movement. We need a strong unite against this white supermacy stracture. One of the obstacles we need to take away is the acusation of the bible. Yes it is a obstacle where we stand.

I only admire bibles/religions for their aesthetic charm. Aside from paganism, most religions were as violent and dogmatic as gang members. It was "Get down or lay down."

This conversation is very odd, a discussion on any Bible must begin with an historical view, a cultural view and the political nature of the time of that writing! The who, what, when, where, why and how will only be answered in that context. Therefore an argument on the "truth" or "falsehood" of the tome commonly referred to as "The Bible" is irrelevant outside of that context.

The feuds between religions to me have always seemed to be nothing more than popularity contests. None of them have any more proof than the other. For example, in Roman legend it is said that Numa Pompilius (715-673 BC), the second king of Rome turned water into wine - nobody will believe that but they'll believe that Jesus did it. Why? Because Christianity is the reigning religion and paganism is hardly even taken seriously these days. Also, Romulus and Remus, the twin founders of Rome are said to have been born to their mother Silvia without a mortal father. Nobody will believe that but they'll believe that Jesus was born to Mary with no mortal father. Why? Because Christianity and monotheism in general are the 'in thing'. People are sheep, ready to be shepherded by whatever reigning idea that prods them in the back.

Yea I know my converation may be odd but i'll survive by that. people say the bible had some bad influences that makes it lock on falsehood. Only when stuff like that happens when someone ignorant of the context's false (with reality) for faith. Basically for me using the bible, is for the case of life. Ignore all the man's concepts of how they put God and all that. Thats not going to help when we are out here trying to survive and eat.

The bible gives a ability to have the right to stand for freedom, and equality even at the case by any means necessary.If the context ain't about my freedom, there's something wrong with that. So I wouldn't be going to the bible if it was't about freedom. The religion of Islam meaning submit to Allah, or Muslim meaning A Slave to Allah is a sign of information. There's no harmony with humans. It is in offensive terms when they provide information for conversion to command someone to be a slave or sumbitter to God.

I ain't saying Islam ain't useful but they may have useful information only for one to convert. And All we seen from converts are more violently from a religious side.

I am happy to see that you find the Bible as a source of peace for your life. I will state that the more you are in tune with your cultural self the Bible will look differently! Trust me when I read the bible I was 13 years of age, I read it like a book. I told my mother it was the dumbest book I had ever read. I then began to notice that the stories repeated themselves or at least the concepts did. I noticed further the numerous contradictions in the books! Then I began to investigate, research those contradictions and that's when I began having problems with the Judaeo Christian doctrine! Africa, has for years suffered at the hands of invading concepts, not one concept that has come out of Africa has ended up in an invaders hand without changes!

These changes proved intellectually problematic for our masses of folks who learned complacency, and a degeneration of their Afrikan selves. We did however manage to add some Afrikanisms (is that a word) to various religions of the invaders, percussions, drums, storytelling etc. However to use an invaders interpretation of my cultural self I personally feel is an act of insanity, again this is my humble opinion. For me there are certain things that are unacceptable and yoking myself to my oppressor is one of them. My beloved we must of necessity do all we can to understand the sources of our spiritual enlightenment beside being simply uplifted. Your intelligence is obvious I would just add that perhaps a study of more ancient Afrikan texts may be added to your already awesome intellect!

I read the bible uh huh...But I find on my shelf books far more important than it...And im not religious
