| For me, the problem is not 'transforming the lethargy and indifference of the youth, first' before any revolution can happen. No, the Revolution, for me and anybody who is unafraid to take onthe process, is not philosophically having to do anything "first" before we make the revolution. That is the revolution with a little "r", not the genuine Revolution, which does not wait for anybody to get ready but takes on its own momentum. We are not waiting on the cable man, or the preacher because somebody is running late. Mama Assata Shakur and Mumia Abu-Jamal and MOVE and Uhuru are not waiting for anybody or anything to continue their work and to unite with the people. Sundiata Acoli is not asking people to wait; he is behind bars and continues to reach out to us which must serve as an encouragement for us to reach out to our community. We swim like fish in the sea of the masses. So all these things that people believe we must do "first" must actually become integrated into THE PROCESS OF REVOLUTIONARY TRANSFORMATION, which will not only transform the youth, the elders and everybody in between, but ourselves, as well. It has transformed me, and it will transform anybody who has decided to accept the Revolution and organizing and mobilizing our community as a principled way of life.

Ashe'. When we begin the process of overcoming the demons, fears and phobias within ourselves, we will realize we are more than capable of confronting and resolving all impediments to our freedom, self and group actualization and achieving African redemption.
