A theologian named Marcus Borge teaches about Christianity and gets everybody upset. According to his research and alot of peoples, many stories in the bible aren´t factual. The bible came from people recording the oral tradition. In the oral tradition what had to be true was the message carried over by the story, not the story or the symbology itself.

Since the beginning of time stories have been taken from one culture to the other and the places and faces have been changed so it better communicates to the new culture. It´s all talking about the same thing though. It was only when the European with a dualistic mindset rooted in materialism got a hold of these stories that they had to be factual to be of value.

What the above shows us is that the story about Jesus was the same as the one about Horus because they are the same people. To say that one exists and one doesn´t is meaningless when one talks about the oral tradition, because the importance is not the name of the person, or the face, or the places where they lived, it is the central message.

We find ourselves falling into the same trap as the Europeans sometimes and adapting a very narrow way of thinking. When we look at the traditions as they were meant to be, however, we can see that the arguement is totally meaningless. If some fool says that Horus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, is like Hitler, he´s just a fool. There´s no need to argue with him, because he is a fool.

My father use to say, ¨If you see a fool, leave him a fool.¨ That´s what I would do in this case.
