Sebek/Ellegba equated to Satan WTF?

Ok, now everyone knows I'm a baby in my journey as I became "awaken" to truth in 2006.

btw, I received my african name which is Nefera Nu Khem - woo hoo!!!!

Anyway, I take time daily to meditate and do a lot of studying on the African spiritual way of life and the one thing that disturbs me is, even on so called other African revolutionary sites, they equate Sebek/Ellegba to Christianities "Satan".

Please educate me on how in the heck a law of God is reduced to such a mechanism as being negative.

In my quest, I "know" that the laws of God can manifest through us in both positive (tu) and negative (tem), but come on now?

Sebek/Ellegba, the intellect/communication can be used for positive OR negative, and words can be interpreted in several ways (Ellegba/Eshu being a "trickster").........plus i think Sebek being a jackal (underworld, assisting the dead,etc) + the red & black throws people off.

i take it as a misunderstanding though
