| Reincarnation/Ancestor Clarification
Can someone answer this for me please, because I've been thinking about this lately. In African spirituality I've been taught that we honor our ancestors who have transitioned; ancestor shrine, boveda etc, but then I've been taught that everyone who transitions is reborn aka reincarnated to the next life, so explain how the two work because if someone has transitioned on to the next life, wouldn't that mean their spirit lives on in the physical realm if they are reincarnated? So how do you honor your ancestors spirit if in fact they continue to live on in another physical body? Does this make sense?
