I'm wondering if you look like you're rising sign. I remember the first time an astrologer asked me my rising sign. at the time I didn't know, but I told her my date of birth (which I wasn't 100% sure about). I now know that I'm a scorpio rising.

Back to the astrologer. There were only two options for me. Scorpio or
-- and I can't remember the other sign. She asked me how tall are you? are you on the short side? Which I am. Do you have big dark eyes, bedroom eyes? which I do. big dark eyes definitely yes. the intense gaze that I now know scorps are said to have, definitely yes.

She asked if I was curvy and big. that was a yes.

Those apparently are some of the characteristics of what a female scorpio rising will look like. She was asking me these questions because I didn't know my time of birth and she was trying to guesttimate my rising by physical description.

this conversation happened maybe 15 years ago. I've been studying astrology with a teacher now and I've asked him if he has noticed that a person's rising sign will determine certain physical characteristics or mannerisms regardless of the race of the person and he has said yes.

I recently met a scorp rising guy and he has the big dark eyes. He has the penetrating gaze. apparently this applies to both genders. as a man I've read that they tend to be on the tall side 5' 11'' and up. Tend to be slender, physically fit with long legs and arms. the guy I know is all of these things.
an example would be Nicholas Cage. he's supposed to be scorp rising.


so what's your rising sign and do certain characteristics apply to you?
