Hello,

As a young graphic designer, currently completing a degree at Chelsea
College of Art
and Design: The London Institute, I am undertaking a final project
which aims to
encourage more of the general public to read short stories, by
exploring new and
exciting methods of engaging readers. My focus is on the notion of
involuntary reading:
placing literature onto surfaces of environments where people wait or
pass through.
For example in waiting rooms and queues. The outcomes shall explore
audience,
medium, scale technique etc.

For my final show I shall present a connected series of visuals of
the designed
outcomes which I have undertaken.

I am looking for writers of published or un-published poetry or short
stories
(preferably under 1000 words in length) who will allow their work to
be used in one, or
a series of outcomes. Those involved would benefit by having their
work introduced to
new audiences, in new ways.
