Global economic isolation of the neocolonial West-Is it possible?

Economic isolation(sanctions, embargos, etc.) as a weapon of mass economic destruction is one I see the neocolonial West using time and again to impose its white Anglo-Saxon economic supremacy(other wise known as "neoliberal-free-market-globalization")

on most of the world's populations.

The question I pose here-can the world's majority organize enough to turn their economic WMD against them(U.S./U.K./E.U.)?

Here are some examples of what is being done in some countries so far, at least:

Venezuela is requiring 70% of its gold supply to be sold domestically with 60% being retained within its Central Bank to reduce dominance of U.S. dollar:

As the article says, other countries, like Russia and China will soon follow suit. South Africa and other African Union member states should join in as well.

Another example-formation of regional trade blocs like ASEAN in Asia, MERCOSUR and ALBA in Latin America, and of course, the African Union.

Global divestment from Western sponsored institutions that promote economic apartheid, like the IMF/World Bank loan sharks:

This is a very brief list of what the global majority(as in ALL OF US) can and are doing to at least begin to counter Western corporate neocolonialism.
