Htp Little95,

I feel you!!!...in Guerrilla Warfare Che Guevarra talked about how when you see an advancing line shoot at the front. When everyone in the back sees the ones up front gettin mowed down, they'll psychologically be more hesitant to move up to the front. This is exactly and precisely what has happened to Our people as Jahness pointed out...I say, if clarence "uncle" thomas, condoskeeza and colin bowell are off'ed everyone will understand. shoot, even just "uncle" thomas...the proto-type icoon of the house knee-grow.

Liking the Rally idea

Greetings Family,
My name is Joanie and Im a Recovering Afrikan amerikkkan and Representative from the Voices in the Margins.

I like the idea of Rallies presented by brethren Little95. I grew up learning that "the message was in the music".

I continue to envision massive, organized, unified and simultaneous music rallies. Music will be choosen based on the messages presented, a select few, which are repeated until folks know the words and are singing along....the message will be the same at all locations, the music would be the same as this would be a coordinated effort. We want the people all over SAYING THE SAME THING, CHANTING AND PRAYING THE SAME PRAYER.

The message offered in Roots/Culture Reggae artists such as Luciano, Sizzla, Morgan Heritage. Beres Hammond, etc...are excellent choices for me not only because their focus on the devasting intergenerational socio/political conditions faced by Afrikans, however, their music also provides a clear SPIRITUAL solution. Many of the songs I enjoy, in fact, are chants or prayers, discussing our condition with the Creator whom they(Reggae artists, Rastarfarians) refer to as JAH. It seems to me they are practicing II Chronicles 7:14. humbling their selves in prayer, seeking the face of a Higher Power, desiring to turn from wicked ways, which are the conditions to bring forth the Power and Might of the Combined source of our strength WHEN WE ARE UNITED IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. One God, One Aim, One Destiny.

Obviously I don't know much, But at first i just wanted action change something do something, I am still fired up but a little clamer in my thought. If a violent revolution took place now of course I would be involved, But I think (and that's a big think) I understand a little more now than I did a year ago. I believe that we must have the masses which inturn means teaching the masses which is more easier said than done I think we need to be taught as to who we are reclaim our African identity pass this on to all we can, I also believe we need organization which to me is also easier said than done, i believe we need tacticle traing where to find that i know not, my bones are to old to study martial arts etc. however I do know that we wont see any change unless we bring about the change ourselves this govt. will never give us what is deserving to us and we will never be assimulated , by the way i don't want to be assimulated. But we talk but we need things inv=concrete plans etc If i may be so blod as to ask where are those plans at

Rallies are an effective Tactic of Mass Agitation. However you still have to Educate, Organize and then Mobilize. Rallies serve the first Objective but the others require other Tactics, ie Organizational Structure, Mass Meetings, Leadership Meetings, Political Education, Block Organizing, Community Outreach, Self-determination Programs, a Political Newspaper, in short, a Sound Ideology, Strategy and Tactics.

I ask that everyone check the threads Block Organizing and The Battle of St. Pete. As a member of APSP/Uhuru Movement, of course I'm going to represent and push the line, strategies and tactics of that Org. I was where many others on this board are right now. Brainstorming on what to do and how to do it. I was forming my own organization in Atl when I met some brothas with The Uhuru Movement and started to unite with them. I saw no reason to reinvent the wheel.

As I visited St. Pete and learned more about the organization, I saw no other Org accomplish what this Org has accomplished. St. Pete is a model for the beginnings of African Liberated Territory. I can't name any other Org that won the respect, due to POWER, being referred to as "The Embassy of the Black Community" by city officials. This was due to the St. Petersburg Rebellions, not riots. I've never heard of a Rebellion being sparked and led in the manner witnessed in St. Pete.

Huey P. Newton himself, when he came back into political life in the 80's, came to The Uhuru House in Oakland and was uniting with this Org. He said, "You may not have the Black Panther Party but you have The Uhuru House, you may not have the Black Panther Newspaper, but you have the Burning Spear. So they haven't done anything by crushing one organization." - Speech given December 28, 1986 at The Uhuru House in Oakland "Last Speeches of Huey P. Newton" published by Burning Spear Publications.

Basically what I'm saying is we don't need to reinvent the wheel. There is an Org that is getting results, that is showing and proving the effectiveness of its Theory, Strategy, and Tactics.

As far as the Socialist tip, we blast the White left and Marxist doctrine. We recognize the white left as supporters of this War on Our People and Marxist ideology as racist. We can start a whole new thread on that topic.

P.o.p !

It seems to me the message is in the music..at least that's where i heard it where it made the most sense where no one knew i was getting it and it was strenthinin me and teaching me what happened and i could laugh and cry and frown and sign......when i hearrd the music i knew what da teacher was talkin bout and i knew what my daddy fought about and i saw why my mommie cry and i knew why i would die.......
(notes from the margin)

I offer my experiences, strengths and hopes as an addition to what others have shared with me...all organization for which i have become familiar with during the course of my 45 year journey suggest the same things. they all claim their way is THE best way...seems to me they are all INCOMPLETE pieces of the same pie....they are INCOMPLETE because they all need the others.....some of those organizations include:
NAACP, HEADSTART, UHURU UNIA BLACK BAPTIST PREACHES/TEACHERS NOW KNOW AS " BLACK CHRISTIANS"BLACK MUSLIMS (NOI), RASTARFARI, NATIONAL ASSOICATION(S) OF BLACK SOCIAL WORKERS, PSYCHOLOGISTS, LAWYERS, DOCTORS, POLITICIANS whew....
Although all have been around for 30+ years, we are still HERE in this HELLHOLE.....down here in the margins....

WE ARE STILL HURTING, SELF DESTRUCTING......HELL.......

I AM HURTING....SELF DESTRUCTING.....

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!!!!

Of course People are going to prop up there Orgs, or else they would be somewhere else. However I do feel that everyone has a purpose. The question is if that purpose supports genuine African Liberation.

Hi Family,

I have a question: Who determines what is or is not "genuine African Liberation"?

Like Assata said I can't tell u what freedom is, but i can tell u what it aint...Of course no one has the patent on what Afrikan liberation is...We can all romanticize on what it means to us, but to etch that in stone would not be tactical...Besides we all have or theories and ideologies, but that would all mean nothing without practice

Exactly we must base that on Org's accomplishments thru their works. If they're getting results, then they must be doing something right. Thats the point I'm making.

RecoveringAA:

You raise a good question for discussion. What is or is not "genuine African Liberation"?

I feel who determines it is the People. The People make history, not one Man, Woman, Child, or Organization. From the People will be given birth the Force that will see it through.

Thumbs up african liberation!

african liberation will come when we conquer ourselves and conquer our fears as well and then we can unite, the enemy feeds off division and lack opf unity, patrice lumumba recgonized that the problem in africa was tribalism that the enemy was taken advantage of tribal factions,it even occured when butalesi the leader of the zulu was working against nelson mandela, the problem with the continent is we have white christians
( europeans) and amerikkkans taking advantage of the situation to rape the land, african liberation will come when we are able to overcome our divisions
and out work past our inner most contradictions,we need to be organized and help others organize, mentally, physically and spiritually, kwame nhkrumahs vision was one of UNITED STATES OF AFRICA, hence the meaning U.S.A,his vision was not only for africans in the continent but for africans and african descents in the diaspora for us to utilize our energy and resources for the betterment of africa, defend it with our heart and soul,so the african socialist international and the apsp hasa good platform," touch one, touch all! i say if you fuck with one of us,you are messing with us all!
so i say fuck the british because like mother like son
them mofos were founders of amerikkka hence the name of one of the states
new england!* monotov cocktails ready*
