14 members of the B.R.L.P. arrested

I heard on the radio that 14 members of The Black Riders Liberation Party were arrested yesterday (Wednesday, June 7th). I don't have ANY details beyond this. You can probably hear what I heard at the website I listed below. It was part of the news announced at the VERY BEGINNING of today's program.

I got a collect call from jail this evening from Aryana of the Black Riders
Liberation Party.

Fifteen (15) of their members were busted late Tuesday night by the LA
Sheriffs while on Crenshaw. They are apparently being charged with robbing
their own van, totally bogus but consistent with the constant police
harassment they face while doing their street organizing.

Eight men have been transferred to one of the county jails, possibly the
Twin Towers. Six women are being held at another jail in Lynwood. One
sister is in juvenile custody. They have been in touch with their lawyer,
James Simmons, and have a court appearance on Friday but are still not sure
where.

Aryana and I got cut off when I tried to make a three-way call to the
lawyer. I have messages in to Simmons, to T.A.C.O.'s mom, and to other
supporters. Aryana just spoke to me again briefly and said she would call
in the morning when she knows where they will be going. They need funds and
support.

Thanks for your concerns comrades. Many of the comrades were busted last tuesday on b.s charges but were released on friday. They tried to hold our general T.A.C.O and released him last that day hopeing they could break him by hours of interrogation but appearently that didn't work and since they didn't have any real reason to lock him as well as everyone else up, they had no choice but to let each and everyone of them go. So everyone is fine yall. The only unfortnate thing is that "our" van that we supposely robbed has been impounded which they are asking for $600 if we want it back other than that, everyone is safe..for now.
