National Chicano Moratorium

In East Los Angeles, the 36th Commemoration of the Chicano Moratorium calls for self-determination from Iraq to Occupied Aztlan-Mexico, as well as Education, Not Deportation; Resistance to Homeland Security; End Minuteman Terrorism; Black-Brown Unity; and Workers' Rights, not Corporate Rights.

WHEN: Saturday, AUGUST 26, 2006
There will be a march starting at 9 a.m. at Belvedere Park, at 1st and Mednik, to Salazar Park, at Whittier Blvd and Ditman Avenue, for a rally from noon to 5 p.m.
