| 9/13 Black August L.A. Baobab Project!
PLEASE SUPPORT! ============= The Baobab Project's first Letter Writing Circle of the year will be on Saturday, September 13, at 6 pm at the AFIBA Center, 5730 S. Crenshaw Blvd, between Slauson and 57th Street. The Baobab Project's purpose is to connect with our brothers and sisters behind the walls; to break down the alienation and the isolation they are subjected to, by providing a lifeline to the 'outside' world. Lists of political prisoners, prisoners of war, and "prisoners of conscience" will be available, and some biographies will be provided, as well as a film on the Angola 3 who were held in Louisiana's infamous Angola State Penitentiary.
