Like most of us, I never got to know you personally, but I did get to learn some of your philosophies. I appreciate your words of encouragement as well as your corrections to the mistakes we made. This strong warrior Bro. always operated from a basis of undying love for the people and particularly our PP's/POW's/exiles. For all of that, i salute him as a comrade. He was also a great scholar, one of those rarely gifted who could completely digest information and recall chapter and verse in an instant. Even when we would go to (cyber)war, i would have to laugh out loud sometimes at his keen wit and sharp humor. This Bro. was definitely one of a kind. Baba Ahmed will be sorely missed and nuff respect due to him, with sincere condolescences to Queen and their loved ones. Thanks for sharing the photo! Sis.

I haven't had the opportunity to visit Assata in weeks. I didn't know elder brother Baba was ill? I'm truly distraught of his passing. Lost for words right now. My deepest apologies and condolences goes out to elder brother Baba and his family. I already miss him. We all love you, Baba. God rest your soul.

I am very sorry to hear about Baba's passing. He was extremely supportive to those yung'guns (young guns) doing the work of Afrikan people in his own natal family and in the extended Afrikan family.
