MWM/BWDL Special Report:
On Fri. Dec. 3, 2004, The National Black Caucus of State Legislators passed a Resolution to Free Mumia Abu Jamal and other political prisoners.
The victory took place in Philly, this past week where the group held its 28th National Annual convention which featured Della Reese and Bill Cosby.
Though Phila. Black lawmakers failed to initially have any necessary dialog about Mumia, nor was there any issues on the national agenda to address the death penalty, prisons, etc., period, two strong Black women, Sis. Pam Africa and Sis. Basiymah Mu-Bey were not only determined to make sure this dialog was in the mix but to make sure that something was done about it.
Tune in to "Visions of A NU Day" on the Harambee Radio Internet Station on Mon. Dec. 6, 2004 at 10:00 PM to midnight to hear the full story, live, directly from Sis Basiymah Mu-Bey.

and the upcoming hearing in the attempt to disbar him.

[baba question: why could I not get connected to www.harambeeradio.com this past Sunday? Any suggestions?]
Anyway I agree we need to quick fast get behind our brutha Attorney Lumumba. He was on radio, WRFG-FM this past Friday b n telephone interview by Bilal Sunni 'Ali. As are many get down sistas/bruthas seldom was he heard to beat his own drum. Bilal reminded the listening audience to act in behalf of the brutha.
Re the Congressional Black Caucas "reaction." They're like eunichs. Castrated! And good only for the showing. They remind me, most of'em, of an old Gillette (shaving) Blade slogan: Feel good; Look good; Smell good! All buzz words of subterfuge.

Pause for a cause. Why did Bobby Seale scream in the Connecticut (New Haven?) Courts, which literally had'im gagged, cuffed, & chained and barred from attending his own trial?: You have no jurisdiction over me!
WHY DO YOU THINK?

Why did Bobby Seale say that you ask? Because its true. Same with all our fallin warriors (RIP). It juss like Fred Hampton said: "You can jail a revolutionary, but you cant jail a revolution. You can kill a revolutionary but YOU CANT KILL A REVOLUTION!!!."
They had NO jurisdiction over him because he had the truth, his mind is free, but his body wasnt. Juss because your body is locked up dont mean your mind has to be. And we have the best examples of this in our political prisoners, Mumia Abu Jamal, Mutulu Shakur, Jamil Al-Amin, Fred Hampton Jr. a while back, Bobby Seale himself at a time, etc, these people were still active in the streets, while being locked up.
I hope my words are clear and you understand what Im sayin.
To be honest and kind to you, u've said a whole lot of words and its possible they're relevant... because I do not have to be correct in thinking that he, somehow, was "prophetic." Somehow he may have known that today's battle for Reparations included the int'l right or REPATRIATION, SELF-DETERMINATION AND TO NAME A FEW, THE RIGHTS TO LANDS THAT WERE EITHER TAKEN OR STOLEN FROM US AND ALSO DUE TO OUR FORTHCOMING STATUS AS AN INDIGENOUS PEOPLE! So with the International Indigenous status, lets hope, He was declaring U.S. Courts out of bounds.Originally Posted by kLmNaTy

For your information, Bobby Seale wasn't the only person screaming such statements; white boys were say'n too; one I remember whose name I think was Abbey Hoffman in Chicago courts after some mass demonstrations there; maybe anti-Vietnam War. Now they may have been show boating; I'd rather believe that Bobby was for real in his statements. When I was then a young wide-eyed yungun, I thought he was showboating. But in light of what's happening today, that's not necessarily so. Besides it keeps him in a position to be idolized for something that can not be disproved and is useful today! And one further personal note, I'd always appreciated Bobby's clarity in his written and/or spoken words. Not so a couple of the other Panthers. I mean at the time they were said or written. Something clear speak Omowale Malik Shabazz. Few had/have that talent.
Keep studying and keep in mind one of IfasehunReincarnated's signature messages: knowledge, wisdom then understanding. I'm not sure of his interpretation, but I do know that wisdom involves having had some successful experiences in being Righteous. I'm surprised that u were the first to respond; but then one thing we old heads, generally, lack is impetuousness. Experience teaches us not to be.

I know Bobby Seale wasnt the only one sayin what he did. I think alot or most people in his position, and mindframe (bein concious), would say the exact same thing. In reply to the white boys who said they were supposebly "down" for revolution and other shit but were really juss doin it for "show" and to make themselves feel better, and to go brag bout whatever to they little friends, FUCK THEM FAKES. Im not sure if you were thinkin that Im one of those types, but homie let me assure you, I aint. I dont think you were even close to implyin that I was, I juss wanted to make that clear.
I havent ever gottin the impression from any of Bobby's writing or speaches that he is "showboatin" (if i have the right interpetation of the meanin). I got nothin but respect and love for the Panthers, all except Eldridge Cleaver, which I have my own beliefs about.
Ive read IfasehunReincarnated's signature and honestly I havent come to a conclusion on the real meaning, or how the "right" way to interpret it is, maybe theres not a "right" way. But Im goin to think bout it more and more until I can make it clearer. But you are right that WISDOM comes from EXPERIENCE. And experience, I dont have much yet, I juss became concious maybe like a year ago and havent been doin much real activity on the streets except educatin all my homies I can. But my main thing right now is juss READIN.
Alwys good to hear your opinion on things,
Stay up.
