      Ay, Mamasita! No habla Espanol.

But I learned about the Nicaraguan revolution a few years ago. What most impressed me about it was the amount of womyn that were involved in Sandinista guerilla armed combat and struggle within the revolution. About 30%! I was also amazed at how much was done for the people: literacy, health care, political education, and the reorganization of the socio-economic structure to meet the needs of the people.

Yes, i would say, although i might be wrong, there has been many women involved in every revolutionary war. surely has much as men, cause when it comes to protecting Our people and nation, , when the people/family is in risk, we are always down (but not so much when men join the military and go fight on foreign soil for not so clear purposes)

Also add, this strenght and determination is known by the men leaders so they promise changes in the women status in order to motivate us even further for revolution. but these specific change not always come true as much as these women would have liked. But sometimes it doesnt matter that much, cause, like the Afrikan colonized people who had to go fight for euros in WWII, when they come back they do so stonger, and more determined prepared and motivated, and usually that itself can bring the change.
