A system on trial

New Jersey's child welfare system had become a national embarassment. Then Faheem Williams was found dead in a Newark basement along with his two starving brothers - after child welfare officials closed a abuse complaint without ever seeing them. Months later, an emaciated Bruce Jackson was found rummaging through trash for food in Collingswood. He and his three brothers were allegedly starved while caseworkers routinely went in and out of their adopted home. Those failures are the backdrop for a system that is undergoing a massive overhaul.

Blackicon Friends Another story in the making

Just wait until you hear my story! It's coming real soon! I don't want to settle out and sweep it under their rugs. I want to expose the truth about New Jersey and DYFS and Department of Human Services. My lawyers have said we are ready to rumble.

I will submit my story here if anyone is truly interested. I do not seek sympathy. I want the worlsd to know what happens right here.

BTW, here's a link to a featured article for the Faheem settlement
