NY - Akom for Nana Yao - POSTPONED TO FEB 26

Due to the passing of the mother of two of our shrine family members, the Akom for Nana Yao had been
POSTPONTED UNTIL SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Onipa Abusia, an Akan religious and cultural organization, invites you
to our Akom service in honor of Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu.

The spiritual tradition of the Akan people of Ghana, West Africa
continues in the US today because of the efforts of Nana Yao.
Because of him, traditional Akan rites such as the Edin To (naming
ceremony) and Ye Goro Bra (female puberty rites) are still practiced
in the US today.

Come and join Onipa Abusia as we conduct a special Akom in honor and
celebration of Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu.

All are welcome to attend.
