Are Black People Free Yet?

This question deals with the status of Black people in this country
today which hits right at the foundation of the system we live in.
This is something that is so deeply ingrained in our society that it
directly touches all of us. Generations have battled this question
out, yet we must not and cannot leave this unanswered. Critical to
this is digging into the truth about this country, what has shaped it
and what are the foundations of its "national interest" from the
Middle East to Jamaica, Queens.

If you think Black people need liberation or if you think liberation
has already come, this evening will bring a much-needed reality check
to the debate, with speakers who are rigorous, analytical, and
passionate in their desire to make a better world as well as a vital
question and answer session.
