The Malcolm X Commemoration Committee Presents its 9th Annual Dinner Tribute to the Families of Political Prisoners and Prisoners of War in Prisons in the Tri-State Area (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania) on Sunday January 16, 2005, at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton Street, Brooklyn. NY from 3 P.M. till 7 P.M. Donations $35.Dinner will be served promptly at 3 p.m.
Guest speakers are: Minister Kevin Muhammad, Nation of Islam Mosque # 7 and Eddie Ellis host of WBAI program "On the Count". Cultural presentations will be made by Harlem's Poet Laureate, George Edward Tait, his very talented wife, vocalist Akosua Tait, and popular singer D.k. Dyson.
