A founder of El Museo Del Barrio and The Caribbean Cultural Center, Marta has introduced thousands of New Yorkers to Orisha practice in the Diaspora, from Brazil to Cuba to the Bronx.

In each book she shares the details of her transformation and coming of age spiritually. Please Join Marta on Wednesday night as she talks about the process of putting the unexplainable down in print. I love Martha Vega. I don't know if she still is but she used to be up at Hunter. Unfortunately I can't go, but if I was in NYC i would be right there. Please keep us posted on any other Martha Vega sighting that might be coming up.

Thanks

Greetings Sister Mekeda7

A pleasure seeing you again.

Martha is great. She has a pleasant personality.
I met her a couple of years ago. She was doing
a Lecture at Medgar Evers College.

I am not sure if she is still at hunter either.

Her books are a very nice read as well.
They are informative and not confusing or
overly wordy. It allows the reader to relax
and absorb the content easily

For anyone that could go, it is well worth
the effort.

I will definitely keep you informed and share
any new information I get on Martha Vega.

Thanks for sharing sis and stay blessed
