SPECIAL NOTICE: Please get a Microphone and speakers, if you plan to participate in this discussion. We have to utilize the voice chat features of the chatroom. We will allow members to type their comments who do not have a mic, but eventually we would like everyone to use their mics.

NOTE: Once the chat session has officially started at 8:30 pm, please welcome or greet members who are arriving after 8:30 p.m. via Private message. By doing this it will help to ensure that the conversation continues to flow smoothly without interrupting the person who is making their comments at that given moment.

NOTE: When a member wants to participate in the discussion, they would indicate to the moderators by typing the Exclamation Mark "!" and waiting on a chat moderator to let them know when it is their turn to speak.

After finishing their thoughts, they would type the at sign "@" to indicate they are finished speaking.

The Maximum time for speaking is THREE MINUTES. If you want to speak again, use the "!" symbol again and wait.

It doesn't seem like we are really discussing "Supporting Haiti". More like why they are in situation they are in, how long they've been that way, and how we are furious at what is going on over there. Venting our frustrations, which can be a great thing at times.

The school system is such a broad topic, I hope those that attend are able to narrow it down a bit, so that we can offers helpful suggestions that we be beneficial when implemented. Because let's be honest, most of us are aware of how much the school system sucks, and many of us with children are able to even create a list.

We can use more than one chat session to discuss the public school system..And I would not be surprised if we did any way.

You're right...The discussions surrounding the school system would bring about many more suggestions that most of us can actually use.
