Question Israel and Palestine

Israel and Palestine

We all know of the suffering that the Palestinian people are still going through, and we know of the pain of losing the land that your ancestors fought for, but how can we help bring peace. I know there are rebel leaders who want to exterminate the Israelies, but which groups really want peace with both Jews and Palestinians? I konw I might not get a clear answer living in the western world, but which rebel groups if any really have REAL eace in mind. Anyone know which ones?

Let us rally around Jah's home.

In my opinion

It’s not a matter of pain that their ancestors (Palestine) fought for, Jews immigrated during the Ottoman Rule, and then after WWII, the British Mandate enabled them to settle in Palestinian land. The Jews desired a homeland and originally wanted to settle in Africa (Uganda) before they set off to take the land of Ur. I agree with my people and my husband—smells like propaganda to me to feel compassion for the Jews about their situation: please.

Now, if you desire to read biblical reference, it does infer that they had a claim of the land (e.g. Old Testament) before they broke God’s commandment. However, that is another issue and varies in accordance to one's interpretation of the bible.

I think that you (thequestioner) are Jewish. What sadness me is that the Jews are exposing their children to suffering, pain, truamasation and death by their continuation to perpetuate lies that they are entitled to the land; if that was the case, why did the British (and America) enabled them to live there and not God?—oh I forgot, it’s because the Zionist wanted the land and I assumed because they were constantly push off the land due to wars. They tend to think that they should compensated and land is their reward/oh yes, they suppose to be the kings of many nations too right (Ha-ha-yeah right).

Funny because right after evil Hitler did the nasty to them, Britain felt somewhat guilty and intervened after they broke down their colonial rule and return countries back to the natives of various countries. The Empire, had trade agreements with the Arabs, therefore, they were never on the side of the Jews but the guilt of turning their back on the Jews is what prompted them to intervened; simply as a means to show that they empathised with them and/are Christian.

Its amazing how you make reference of 'rebel leaders who want to exterminate the Israelis' without recognising that the Israelis has rebel leaders as well who want to exterminate the Palestinians. I don't feel 'sorry' for the Jews; they are not victims anymore and to be perfectly honest they shouldn't be there:cry me a river.

And, for every Jew that is killed there are double Palestinians that are slaughtered. Therefore, their fate is a direct result of their self-imposement. If the Jews want peace--THEY SHOULD LEAVE THE OCCUPIED TERRIORITIES!!!

Like I said many times, one can't give what isn't there’s. They can’t expect others to care when they aren’t trying to co-exist with the Palestinians or their neighbours: Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran. But this is only my opinions.

Have you ever heard the saying -"A thief who steals from a thief gets a thousand pardons" -?

Iseael and Palestinians are mirrors to each group's character. palestinians are treacherous people, being nice. Perhaps their environment did it, or being Arab it's fundamental I don't care to figure it out.

THEY'RE BOTH PLAYING THE SAME GAME, IT'S JUST THAT ISRAEL HAS A BIG BROTHER AND SUPERIOR FIRE-POWER. Yes, the Palestinians inhabited the land before the advent of "Israel," though THEY acquired it through pushing out it's original inhabitants -Africans. What goes around....

The Palestinian people are pawns in a global game and are used as a political distraction to keep the Arab man on the street from focusing on the fact that his gov't has his on his neck because GHWB has is foot in their ruler's a*s. Israel was and is intended to disrupt Arab-Nationalism and to deny a contiguous Arab land mass and socio-political integration.

I have met Arabs from most of the Arab countries, and they collectively "hate" Plaestinians. Over 70% of Jordanians are Palestinian, as is the current king Abdullah's wife. Yet jordan is a "friend" to Israel including doing business -and coordinates 'polcy' with Israel and the U.S.

The entire territory is Occupied Palestine (by so-called Israelis). I agree that we Africans share a common 'struggle' with Palestinians though all things considered their identification of their struggle with us is philosophical as they as Arabs and Muslims have no qualms with exloiting Africans for their benefit. They, too are present in Africa looting. They are NOT on "our" side.

They struggle in the name of their own intersts, as should we. If and when we can mutually benefit from co-operation to support a common outcome -then we can consider them allies. As for me, "two tears."

I sympathize with Palestine as I see the artificial nature of Israel but as CreatorsCollege says, how much pity can you have for a people that would probably do the same thing to you if the opportunity was provided?

In my mind the Palestinian is meek out of circumstance. I dont believe for a second that they were peaceful and diplomatic prior to Israeli occupation.

A middleman? There is none. There is no nation, nor should there be one, that can broker a compromise. You can't compromise w/ a thief. He ends up leaving with at least one piece of what he stole from you. He remains ahead because he got something for nothing.
