Do you think Negro integrationists are hostile towards a Black revolution? Black integrationists believed that black people should integrate with white people. Hoping this will cause white people to view blacks as equal right? I see integration as a tool to control black people. I say that because I went to a school that’s mixed with whites, blacks, yellows, browns, and etc. I was cut off not only by history of my race, but also the knowledge of other fields which blacks excelled.
I never had any inspiration because I felt like my people were not good for anything. I also notice those black integrationists are helping the white man even if they don't know it. For example, keeping blacks firmly under the mind control of white institutions help maintains the slave mentality. On the other hand, a black revolution mentality gives blacks a sense of self-respect and a news sense of manhood and self worth. All of this would alarm the black integrationist thus, would try anything in his or her power to crush it.
I believe I once read that the main reason for the intergration was to profit bigger. When you got all peoples under the same rich few, the profit will be so much greater. The blacks and browns and poor whites and whomever wants to be apart of this, can work hard and endlessly for major corporations.Originally Posted by Cairo Imhotep
If our people realized that its not a matter of wanting to have us hand-to-hand and happily united with white people and that there just cannot be equality in this system, and basically that its just for money... I think they'd really back off of that hostility or fear of us uniting together and overcoming this type of slavery.

Picture this, the world at a feast every nation has a respected place at the table except us. Instead of developing a chair of our own, we fool heartedly beg at the foot of the head table to share a seat. In order for us as a people to find the necessary nourishment (psychological, sociological, economical, and cultural) we must have our own damn chair, plate, and utensils. With that being said, an integrationist in our society is comparable to a field nigga hoping to become a house nigga. Regardless of the position, place or title the predicament of the people are still the same, bondage
Personnaly I used to be very confused on how to consider integrationism as an ideology...
I used to think that Booker T. Washington,W.E Dubois, Frederick Douglas Martin Luther King were right that there were no alternatives at that time, than asking for mere equality...I used to think that they were great men, indeed they are in a certain extent...
But then I discovered the life and dedication of Marcus Garvey who almost at the same period than some integrationists ( Dubois for instance) has come up with the TRUTH! Truth that the integrationists did not want to hear because it put in jeopardy their self-centered and cupid vision of equality!
This same truth that Garvey's ideological offsprings has been perpetuating to the detriment of their lives and freedom!
Nowadays integrationism is far more blind that it used to be back in 19th and early 20th, its unique aim is to be part of a system that DO NOT want us except if we're submissive or collaborating like the develish Condi among others!
Anyway...Going Back to mother AFRIKA is the solution, the enormous battle field is over there!
Sometimes when I'm down I say to my self, revolution for what? I don't want to start revolution here in a country that is not even mine, just let them burn in their f***** system! I want to change my continent first and foremost!
Integrationism got no future whereas Afrikan Revolution must have one!!
Salaam!

And no matter what game they play
We got something they could never take away
And it's the fire (fire), it's the fire (fire)
That's burning down everything
Feel that fire (fire), the fire (fire)
No water could put out this fire (fire)
That's it my Brother! Spreading revolution and openin' a all new era from HOME...Like all human fundamentals,it will and has to come from Afrika...!

Self-Determination is never too late. It is a necessity. Supporting black business is still needed, making our own products is still needed. The creation and keeping of Our own is still necessary.

I understand the passion that is exemplified in this post. I believe that integrationism had itz positives as well as itz negatives. I has given us the ability to use the systems in SOME ways. It definitely didn't level the playing field, but because of it, they have to recognize that we are in the game.
Aside from that, letz look at our current situations. Look at our communities and our schools. Look at the culture of america with itz rampant materialism that has truly blinded our youth. I don't think the issue of integration is the vital issue today. Truthfully, we are not integrated. We may be part and parcel of the system Politically, but socially we are still on the outside. Our schools are predominantly black and lacking resources. Our communities are primarily black. Jails are filled with black men and women. So, where do we direct our attention?
We have to look at things for what they are... "the powers that be" don't give a thought about our situations. They don't believe that we are a viable part of the system. So, we have to rebuild our system. Forget them. We have to revitalize our communities. We have to take the onus of responsibilty upon our shoulders to educate our children. Look at what The BPP did for their communities. They didn't wait on outsiders to bring help. Whether or not we are better integrated or separated, this is what we have now. So, how do we realistikly foster change? This needs to be the issue.
But, in essence, I agree that Integration had it negatives, most are prevalant now. But, we need to focus on rebuilding ourselves like Marcus Garvey spoke of. If you can't rebuild your community here, what good can U do anywhere else? Afrika or otherwise. The struggle is where your heart iz.
