The World And Satan In The Black Church

Editors Note: The Truth is the Light of the world. Thus, we challenge humankind to seek Truth. We do not ask that you agree with the FreedomJournal. We are nothing, but Truth extends from Almighty God. Regardless of what Impersonators of Leadership say, we will never stray our course. As Ten Million stand against us, we will continue to Stand for God.

The record as inspired by Almighty God has already told us that many stand against His Word. We are not surprised. However, we are saddened, but Joy comes in the morning to those that know God.

THE WORLD AND SATAN IN THE BLACK CHURCH
      (Ungodly Blasphemy)

Part 1: Notes On The History of the Black American Church
In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

Writers Note: The FreedomJournal as a God fearing Free Black Press, is deeply disturbed by the disgraceful posture of many Black Churches. We are disturbed because we see many Church leaders, Ministers, Deacons and many Congregations turning a deaf ear to the worldly views of a sin sick world. Meanwhile, these Demons and Devils in the church allow worldly devilish sins into the Houses of God. Thus we are very concerned and troubled because very few Church Leaders, Ministers and so-called Christians speak out and stand up against these ungodly acts.

The following series of articles will seek to explain several aspects of this problem. "Part 1: Notes on The History of the Black American Church," will hopefully reveal the root causes for the mis- direction of the Black church.

"Part 2: Notes on The History of The Black Preacher," will bring to
the table the historic posture of the selected Black preacher.

"Part 3: The Bible and False Prophets," will bring up for review the clear and precise statements as recorded in the Bible warning the believers about false prophecies and the ways of the world.

"Part 4: Old Con Games, New Con Games," will note the parallels of old and new false prophets. Our final article in this
      series,

"Part 5: Materialism: The Garbage Can of Blasphemy," will note how the pursuit of money has caused the destruction of many Black churches? We also note that we often start with a list of articles but often we extend the series. This happens because our initial conceptualization of our theme does not account for all of the data and information that we encounter when we start the writing phase. Therefore it is highly likely that we will extend this series beyond five articles.

The presence of Almighty God is alive in the hearts and minds of the believers. We bear witness that God is real. To the unbelievers, the atheists and agnostics, the Holy Spirit moves and gives motion and raises fire in the bones of the believers. Thus to those that don't believe this Power
exists,"WHO IS IT?" Yes who causes this emotion and feeling in the souls of God's people. Yes, "WHO IS IT?" Therefore despite those that have tainted Christianity we realize that the Spirit came from God and man (the unbelievers) cannot explain it.

Those who committed numerous crimes against Humanity in Africa and the Americas also introduced Christianity to Blacks in America and West Africa. For the record our discussion relates to the Blacks taken from West Africa to the Americas. We note that Christianity and Judaism was known to East Africans at a very early date. These religions as recorded, filtered
down from the Holy Land into the Horn of Africa and throughout East and parts of North Africa.

However in the land of West Africa most historians argue Christianity came for the most part by way of the Europeans. Thus, the Europeans first introduced Christianity in the mold ofdeception, trickery and deceit.

To explore the impact of Christianity on most of Africa and how this also
affected Blacks in America we are deeply indebted to Edward W. Blyden.
Professor Blyden was one of our legendary intellectuals. His research
"Christianity, Islam and The Negro Race," is a classic, brilliant comparative
analysis of Islam and Christianity and how these religions influenced the
      African experience.

For the record Professor Blyden (1832-1912) was a Christian. He was born in
Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands. As an author, minister, teacher and
Pan-Africanist he made outstanding contributions to our understanding of the
African experience. He visited the U.S. as a young lad of eighteen to pursue
a theological education. After being refused admission to Rutgers University,
he moved to Liberia. His work is very important because of the time in which
he lived and wrote. For example his classic work was published in 1887. The
following quotes by Professor Blyden reveals startling facts regarding
      Christianity and Islam:

"Whenever the Negro is found in Christian lands, his leading trait is not
docility, as has been often alleged, but servility. Nevertheless, there is no
Christian community of Negroes anywhere which is self-reliant and
      independent."

Here Professor Blyden notes that Christianity as introduced to Black people by
Europeans took on a slave mentality. Meanwhile, he argued for the distinct
difference regarding the impact of Islam on Black people.

"On the other hand, there are numerous Negro Mohammedan communities and states
in Africa which are self-reliant, productive, independent, and dominant,
supporting, without the continuance or patronage of the parent country,
Arabia, whence they derived their political, literal, and ecclesiastical
      institutions."

Professor Blyden continues as we note the unique qualities of his work as an
excellent source for information concerning our major question. As we pursue
the questions surrounding the roots of the Black church, we find an added
utility of the use of comparative analysis. Thus, the
comparative analysis of two dominant religions that penetrated the African
continent is quite revealing. This concept has an added significance in
historical research when one is impartial and objective. Here we find Blyden's
West Indian roots as an asset.

We also note the logic in the realization that those that brought Christianity
to the Africans were never sincere in a Godly sense. Therefore we argue that
many problems in the Black church today stem from the criminal manipulation of
Christianity during slavery. Again Blyden notes additional data on the impact
      of these two great religions:

"Mohammedanism found its Negro converts at home in a state of freedom and independence of the teachers who brought it to them. Their converts, as a general thing, became Muslims from choice and conviction and bring all the manliness of their former condition into the maintenance and support of their new creed."

Professor Blyden again reveals the stark differences between Christianity and
Islam and its impact on African people.

"Christianity had come to the Negro as a slave, or at least as a subject race
in a foreign land. Along with the Christian teachings, he and his children
received lessons of their utter and permanent inferiority and subordination to
their instructors, to who they stood in the relation of chattels.
Christianity took them fresh from the barbarism of ages, and forced them to
embrace its tenets. The religion Jesus was embraced by them as the only source of consolation in their deep disasters."

How important was the initial contact by Blacks with Christianity? Are many
attitudes first introduced to Blacks by the alleged European Christians still
evident in the Black church today?

THE WORLD AND SATAN IN THE BLACK CHURCH
      (Ungodly Blasphemy)
Part 2: Notes on the History of The Black Preacher

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

Those who exploited the Africans for their labor power also used Christianity to control this labor source. Thus within the ranks of the oppressed and exploited they found and groomed turncoats, to work against their own people. The record shows a clear and distinct campaign to use Christianity as a means of control.

Again we refer to the research by Professor Edward W. Blyden, "Christianity, Islam and The Negro Race." Blyden notes in a chapter entitled "Christianity and The Negro Race," the following:

"Upon the Africans who became members of the Christian church the idea was impressed that it was their duty to submit, in everything, to their masters. Christians of all shades of opinion, in the South, taught this doctrine, and embodied it in books prepared specially for the instruction of the slaves, their oral instruction, for they were not allowed to learn to read."
Who actually were the first Black Preachers? Did any of these Preachers have an impact on Christianity and the people they ministered to? For a further look at the origins of the Black church and the Black Preacher we turn to research by Benjamin E. Mays and Joseph W. Nicholson, "The Negro's Church." Mays and Nicholson in a chapter entitled "Achieving Freedom In The Church," note the following:

"The first Negro Church in America is reported to have been organized by Mr. Palmer at Silver Bluffs, South Carolina, 1773 or 1775. Economically, keeping Negroes satisfied was profitable to the landowners and to them honest. The Negro preacher and the Negro Church were instruments to this end."
Mays and Nicholson like most Black historians and theologians that have explored the origins of the Black church agree on the previous statements. Therefore, the record is clear on the willful manipulation of Christianity for economic gain. These distressing factors also have produced a disdain of Christianity by many people in the Black community.

Thus, with the rejection of Christianity by many Blacks, they have looked elsewhere. Islam has taken a firm hold in the Black community mainly because of historic racism and Human rights abuses associated with Christianity. The FreedomJournal argues that Muslims have not gone out and brought Black people into the Mosque in most cases. From our analysis Christian racists and slave time teaching Black Preachers and church leaders have forced Black people from the pews of Christianity with lies, blasphemy and ungodliness.

For example many people have entered the ministry for the wrong reasons. The great emphasis on money and whore-mongering has blemished the Black church. Also we note that the False Teachings and False Doctrines centered on Tithes and Offerings, Healing, Speaking in Tongues, What actually is Judging and Laying on Hands are some of the reasons for the confusion in the Black Church. However, the Prosperity Ministries are most likely the greatest causes of dissension and wickedness in the Church. Thus, the crime and Hell- Bent Sin of Thievery and Lust for Money have caused the greatest Exodus from the Church. Again Mays and Nicholson benefit our discussion.
"In the majority of Negro churches there have been no standards, allowing men to enter the ministry. If a man says he is called to preach, he can usually be ordained."

It is for sure that many were called and many came to forsake God. Also many were not called by God and never knew God. This group is most likely the worst of the lot. However, can man distinguish between the ungodly Preacher and God's Preacher? Were there any independent God- fearing Preachers during the establishment of the Black church? Mays and Nicholson reveal the following:

"The militant Negro preachers in a certain section of South Carolina were silenced by threats of violence, and in some cases actually run out of the county, because their messages were not considered the kind that would keep Negroes in their place. But those who preached about heaven, who told Negroes to be honest and obedient, and that by and by, God would straighten things out were helped financially in church projects."
From our analysis of the literature there were evidences of independent and God fearing early Black Preachers. We also argue that they made a significant impact on the slave-holding South. Were the militant Black Preachers who led slave rebellions God's Preachers?
Carter G. Woodson in his research "The History of the Negro Church," continues our discussion.

"Because of the insurrectionary movements led by certain Blacks like Gabriel Prosser, Denmark Vesey and Nat Turner, it became unpopular to teach Negroes to read. It became known throughout the South that some Negro preachers used preaching as a means to incite their race to insurrection."
Therefore, there were laws enacted to silence Black Preachers. Usually they did not allow them to Preach unless in the company of certain White men. In 1832 Virginia passed a law to this affect. In 1833, Alabama passed a law that required Blacks slave or free to have five respectable slave- holders present before they could Preach. Georgia enacted a law in 1834 that provided that Blacks slave or free could only Preach to an assembly of no more than seven unless authorized by the state.
Professor Woodson males a final note on the attitude of the slave-holders and Black Preachers:

"The masters had long since learned that coincidence of religious belief on the part of the slave and the owners was a necessity in the economy of the slave-holding states. No master would look with favor upon seeing his slave proselyted or influenced by a minister whom he would not tolerate as his own spiritual advisor."

What has been characteristic of the Black Preacher over time? Can we distinguish between Preachers of God and Preachers of men and money? We will continue this discussion with a look at the Biblical references related to false Prophets.

Part 3: The Bible And False Prophets

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

Our daily prayer is for God to grant us wisdom and knowledge. We do not pray for material possessions. We declare that the Truth of God through wisdom and knowledge is foremost in the hearts and minds of the believers. Therefore we bear witness that Prosperity Ministries are messages from False Prophets. If you go to church to gain wealth and material possessions you are on your way to Hell.

Yes, Prosperity Ministries are Hell bound, this includes the so-called Ministers and the foolish congregations that follow them. Smooth talking Devils that can quote and teach the Bible have invaded the churches and have literally taken over the TV Ministries. Do these people follow the Bible? Do these people follow a pattern of mis-interpretations of the Bible? Please be informed that there are NO Scriptures that support Prosperity Ministries. This article will hopefully inform those that are ignorant. We also realize that many do not want to know the Truth.

In both of the previous articles we have noted that many of the first Black Preachers in America were chosen by the slave masters. We have also noted why the slave master chose certain Blacks to be Preachers. Thus it is logical to conclude that Preachers chosen by man in the flesh were False Prophets.
Here we see the precedents for buffoonery and blasphemy in the Black church. Also, we see a relationship of buffoonery, blasphemy and False Prophets. Can you become a legitimate God-fearing Preacher and not be called by God? Can man-made chosen Preachers change?

The answers to questions concerning the relationship of man and God are found in the Bible. For the record man can talk to God through prayer and meditation. Also, the Holy Spirit plays a part in directing the lives of Christians and speaks to the Heart. However, the Bible is the primary means of communication with God. We realize this because the Bible is the written word of God.

The word Bible is taken from the Greek word biblos meaning book. This Book is composed of sixty-six separate books. It is a collection of ancient Hebrew and Christian writings. The order of the sixty-six books in the Old Testament and the New Testament is a logical one. These books offer a consecutive history of mankind from the story of the Creation in the first chapter of Genesis to the visionary future of the book of Revelation.
No doubt the Truth of God is found in the Bible. However, instead of Truth the False Prophets speak what the people want to hear. Meanwhile, they are an obstacle to the true word of God. They also contradict the true Prophets. Sadly also, we see messages from False Prophets that appeal to the people's sinful nature.

The Prophecy of Almighty God as revealed in the Book of Revelation also gives an explanation of what is a false prophet. Revelation 13:11 reveals that the beast that comes out of the earth is the false prophet. This beast seems to be of good and kind spirit but he comes to deceive and to do evil.
In the book of Deuteronomy (13:1-3) in the Old Testament, Moses as inspired by God warns the Israelites against false prophets who encouraged the worship of other gods.

"If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth there a sign or wonder,

And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them:

Thou shalt not hearken unto the word so that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: For the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul."

There are many attractive so-called Ministers involved in TV Ministries. These Ministries are often projected as great healers and messengers of God. God is not against new ideas, but God is against any doctrine that contradicts the Word of God. The worship of Prosperity is akin to idol worship. Thus many new ideas may sound good, but are they of God? Be aware of Ministers that are worldly in relating the parallels of the love of God with the love of man and woman.

If is for sure that False Prophets can speak truth but direct you toward themselves. Therefore, it is possible to say the right words and still lead people in the wrong direction. We appeal to all of the people of God that truly seek the knowledge of God: "Examine new ideas closely and compare them to the Word of God?"

In the Book of Matthew (24: 11-12, 23-24) in the New Testament Jesus teaches on the Mount of Olives. Jesus also tells about the future:
      (11) "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
      (12) And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold.
      (23) Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or thee, believe it not.
      (24) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders: insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

It is not a new revelation to see the false prophecy of health and wealth. False Prophets and False Teaching existed during the time of Jesus and they still exist today. The ungodly Prosperity Ministers and Hustlers often state that "God wants, you to be rich." False teaching also brings loose morals. The worldly influence of sin contradicts love for God. The smooth-talking Preacher often does not agree with God's message in the Bible. Thus, he distorts it. Christians need a solid foundation to perceive the errors and falsehoods of false prophets.

Further scripture references are also noted in the Old Testament See: 2 Kings 3:13, Isaiah 44:25, Jeremiah 23:16, Ezekiel 13:2-3, Micah 3:5, Zechariah 13:2.

The Apostle Paul warns about false teaching in 1 Timothy 1: 3, 4, 5. This scripture warns us about the attempts by Satan and false prophets to get us side tracked from the Truth of God. Thus arguing about unnecessary subjects that relate to the church. It is for sure that false teachers are motivated by curiosity, power and prestige. In contrast genuine Christian teachers are motivated by love, truth and faith.

1 Timothy 4: 1-5 further reveal instruction for elders, and Paul gives guidelines for teaching. Here Paul declares that false teachers are devil inspired. Satan deceives people by offering clear imitations of the real thing. They make stringent rules, for example forbidding people to marry and to eat meat. Look to the Bible for your answers and not to false teachers who mis-quote the Bible.

The Translations of the Bible: Mis-Information and Confusion

Editors Note: The translation of the Bible from the original Hebrew and Greek languages is a logical means of communication. The Quran has also been translated from the original Arabic language.
Many Christians note that the King James Version is the best translation of the Bible. All Christians cannot read Hebrew and Greek, nor can all Muslims read Arabic.
Non- Europeans wrote the Quran and the Bible. Also Judaism, Christianity and Islam were established by non-White people.

THE WORLD AND SATAN IN THE BLACK CHURCH
      (Ungodly Blasphemy)
Part 4: The Translations of the Bible: Mis-Information and Confusion

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

The False Prophets, the ignorant and those that seek to cause dissension and Disunity in the Black community often have confused thoughts about the origins of the Bible. For the record the Hebrew people are often confused with the religion Judaism. It is also recorded that Hebrews wrote most of the Bible. The record also shows that the Hebrew people did not originate in Europe. Therefore, we would be remiss if we did not expound on the mis-information about the translations of the Bible and the Hebrew people.
An additional note on the Hebrew people is recorded by Albert B. Cleage Jr., in his celebrated research, "The Black Messiah."
"The Nation Israel was a mixture of Chaldeans, Egyptians, Midianites, Ethiopians, Kushites, Babylonians and other dark people, all of who were already mixed with the Black people of Central Africa."

Cleage gives us further statements about who are the so-called Jews in the following quotation. Israel mixed with people every where they went. There is also a record of the Prophets writing rules about how God's chosen people should not mix with other people. Cleage further reveals the confusion of who are the Hebrew people:

"Israel was a mixed-blood, non-white nation. What usually confuses you is the fact that the Jews you see today in America are white. Most of them are the descendants of white Europeans and Asiatics who were converted to Judaism about one thousand years ago."

The FreedomJournal has often been confronted with those that oppose Christianity and the Bible. Many of these people note the foolishness of Blacks who have embraced Christianity and the Bible. Thus we hear statements like "King James was a homosexual and he re-wrote the Bible." We also hear that: "The White man has tampered with the Bible and Blacks are worse than fools to follow words written by Devilish White men."
As a student during the 1960s and 70s I first heard the attack on the so-called White Bible and King James However, there is on-going growth in knowledge for the sincere Truth-seeker. As I matured I came to realize that the Black Nationalists told as many lies as the White Christians. For the record no side of the Struggle has been immune from mistakes, lies and falsehoods.

I eventually saw a climax of intellectual maturity in the submission and knowledge of God. Therefore I have ceased making ignorant, shallow and incorrect statements about the White man tampering with the Bible. I do not seek to belittle or insult anyone, but let it be written that those that accept the notion of King James distorting the Bible need to do some research. It is for sure that many statements about the so-called King James Version of the Bible are more lies than truth. Meanwhile hate-mongers, atheists and those who are prejudiced project these statements. Also many of these people are biased and denounce anything allegedly associated with White people.
Originally nearly all of the Old Testament was written in Hebrew; the small remaining portion was written in Aramaic, sometime called Syriac. Aramaic was the language spoken by the people and was the language spoken by Jesus during His public ministry. However, the New Testament was written in Greek, the language used in letters and other writings. Since few people can easily read the ancient languages of the Scriptures, many versions and translations of the Bible have been made.

Hebrew is the language of the Old Testament. The manuscripts that have been found are written in square, black letters which resemble the Hebrew of today. There are several factors that cause problems for the translators. (1) Hebrew was written in ancient times without any spaces separating the words. (2) The Hebrew alphabet consisted of twenty-two letters, all of them consonants. Furthermore, in Hebrew there are no capital letters to distinguish proper nouns from common nouns and to mark the beginning of each new sentence. Finally Hebrew is read from right to left, rather than left to right as in English.

Greek was the language of the New Testament. However, the Greek of the New Testament was different from the classical Greek of a few centuries earlier. Greek is like English in that it is read from left to right. Therefore, as Hebrew and Greek were the original languages of the Bible there was a certain and expressed need to translate the Bible into the various languages of the world.

Therefore, we also see different versions of the Bible. Through the centuries the Bible has found its way into languages of the people as Christianity has swept throughout the world. The Septuagint was one of the first translations of the Old Testament. This Greek translation was made before there was a New Testament. The centuries preceding the Christian era saw a wide scattering of the Hebrew people. A large colony of Hebrew people resided in Alexandria, Egypt. Greek was the universal language and Hebrew was little used. Cleage notes that the Hebrews (Jews) that remained in Africa remained Black.

Therefore around the third century B.C. a group of seventy-two scholars, commissioned by the High Priest in Jerusalem translated the Bible into Greek. Septuagint comes from the Latin word seventy, and is commonly abbreviated by using the Roman Numeral LXX.

The Latin translation followed. With the aid of Pope Damascus the scholar Jerome (340?-420) undertook the translation into Latin. The Gospel was carried to Great Britain in the second century; however it was not until the seventh century that Christianity became established. However the first English versions of the entire Bible were the two associated with John Wycliffe (1320?-1384), which were translated from the Latin Vulgate.
William Tyndale (1490?-1536) also English became a martyr for his interest in translating the Bible. A renewed interest in Hebrew and Greek made it possible to translate the Bible from its original texts. Also, Gutenberg's invention of the printing press allowed many Bibles to be printed. The Old Testament was printed in 1525 and the New Testament was published in
      1535.

Meanwhile Miles Coverdale (1488-1568) gets the distinction for being the first to prepare and publish a complete printed Bible in English in 1535.
When Queen Mary came to the throne in 1553 translations were again forbidden and Coverdale was imprisoned. King James I came to the throne of England in 1603. As the secular head of the Anglican Church, James was opposed to the various rivals of Anglicanism in England at the time. In January 1604, the King called a meeting at Hampton Court to discuss religious toleration.
During this conference they noted the need for a new translation of the Bible. Shortly after the Hampton Court Conference the King took steps to begin a new version of the Bible. The work would be done by a large number of English scholars. When completed their work was to be reviewed by the Bishops, The Privy Council, and finally by the King. The translators began their work in 1607 and by 1611 the first edition of the King James Version of the Bible was printed and distributed.

This group effort resulted in a sacred and literary masterpiece, a work that has become the Bible to English-speaking Protestants everywhere and against which all subsequent translations were measured. Contrary to popular beliefs the King James Version was never officially authorized by the King, but won its place in Christendom on its own merits.
The translation is a scholarly work. The translations also were not dependent upon the Latin Vulgate alone for the text; both Hebrew Old Testament and Greek New Testament manuscripts were used.

Part 5: Old Con Games, New Con Games

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

The FreedomJournal is a servant and vessel for Almighty God. As we walk in the Spirit, we bear witness that we have come to glorify God. We do not come for fame, prestige, honors and material wealth. Thus our mission of popularity is with God and not man. God has all power and God is who we serve.

As we seek to further develop our topic on the world and Satan in the Black church we will now take a brief look at measures of exploitation in the church. What was the historic defilement of the church? Also, is there a historical record of precedents for exploitation in the church?

      E. Franklin Frazier in his brilliant research, "The Negro Church In America,” gives us several statements that can apply to our particular topic. Previously we noted that there was opposition to the slaves worshiping because of the precedents laid down by those who led slave revolts. However, Frazier brings in another dynamic.

"The whites were always on guard against African religious practices which could provide an opportunity for slave revolts, and they outlawed such practices. They sought to bring the slaves under the influence of Christianity. This was accomplished in part by acquainting the slaves with the Bible."

We eventually see arguments for and against allowing the slaves to enter Christianity. We also see arguments for and against the slaves being exposed to the Bible. These arguments related to the fear of teaching the slaves the Bible and the laws against teaching slaves to read and write. They
also feared that the slaves would find in the Bible the notion of human equality. Frazier notes the following:

"Opposition to teaching the Negro the Bible declined as masters became convinced that sufficient justification for slavery could be found in the New Testament. Some masters also became convinced that some of their best slaves were those who could read the Bible."

Therefore it is logical to conclude that the old con games of Christian exploitation were based on lies. The record shows though at this time that a litany of lies were used to control and economically exploit the labor power of slaves. From our analysis economics still motivates the lies, con games and methods of exploitation. Did lies of manipulation and economic exploitation from the slave masters have an affect on Preachers that have allowed the world into the church? Did the slave Preachers and the early Black Preachers establish the precedents for the con games of lies? Also, did these falsehoods render a system of selfish materialism by ungodly Preachers? Also did this system financed by poor Black congregations become confused regarding the balance between the support of the Preacher, the church and God's kingdom.

Black people were poor during the early days of the Black church. However, many Black Preachers became influenced by an attitude very similar to street hustlers and Pimps. We argue that smooth-talking Devils who had a gift for lies and deceptions exploited the illiterate and semi- illiterate people in the Black community. As slick con men of the old school, these False Prophets sold prayer cloths, the blood of Jesus and dispensed lottery numbers to confused Black people who possessed natural spiritual inclinations. The contemporary period has produced a new cadre of Devilish False Prophets. This group of Hell bent Demons are more sophisticated, polished and often well educated. For the record, are schools of Theology proving grounds for Preachers to glorify man and not God?

The New Con Games of deceptions and lies have a basic tenet noted in all aspects of the Confidence Game. Here we find that winning the trust of the person you are "playing on" is the most important objective of all Con men and women. The so-called Preachers have an advantage because most people that come to church realize a certain responsibility and loyalty to their faith, the Preacher and the church.

The low-down Devil sent Preacher takes advantage of the love and respect Black people have for God and God's messengers. Thus they manipulate these gullible people to follow them and not God. Thus, establishing blind obedience to them as their father and not God the father. (May God have mercy on the lost souls who commit these acts of blasphemy and shame)?

Meanwhile we see that the result of blind obedience and winning the trust of the people is to: "Get Paid." There are also some clear examples of how many of these sinful creatures carry out these crimes against God and the church.

One very prominent example of the confidence game by False Prophets is found in the lies of the Prosperity Ministries. In our previous article in this series we noted several points on the lies of
so-called Prosperity Ministers. Prosperity Ministries have taken root in the so-called Black middle-class who often think they can pay their way to Peace and Paradise. Materialism drives many Blacks in the so-called Black middle-class. Thus, the great tricks of Prosperity Ministries are planted in fertile ground among people that have embraced money as their little god. Nonetheless, we will move the discussion onto other approaches that False Prophets use to carry out their missions of sin and blasphemy.

The contemporary False Prophets have an open door policy with the world, Satan and the result is sin and more sin. The False Prophets of today's church allow anything in the world into their churches, if they pay. Thus, they allow homosexuals, lesbians, criminals and every other low life creature in the church without question. God' house is a place for all sinners to come for forgiveness and help with their problems. God's house is not a place for practicing criminals, and homosexuals to come to congregate and socialize. God is love and this love extends to all of his people but, He does not love sin.

The Bible teaches the Christians to love all people but the Bible does not teach Christians to love sin. However, the false prophets don't care about sin, they only care about money. Thus, with an open door policy they attempt to redefine the church. Therefore, the submission to God is not important to these Devils. If you have money and are willing to give to the Preacher to further maintain his lavish life-style they allow you to enter and receive the earthly blessings of a Devil sent Preacher.

Why does the Black community and those in positions of authority allow the creative art forms of Black people to be stolen? Why do we allow our creative talents to be manipulated and exploited by people outside the Black community?

Part 6: How Did Rap & Hip Hop Get Into the Black Church?

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

The word of God is a message that is everlasting. Thus, it will stand the test of time. God is time and has declared that time and place for everything that exists. To those confused, lost and those that deny the existence of the Creator we appeal to your soul and mind.

We bear witness that man in the Spiritual realm and man in the world (scientific realm) cannot always explain everything about the earth and the universe. The believers also know that everything should not be explained, especially many things that relate to God. However, the Spiritual man can explain many things lost to the scientific world. Surely the world did not just appear, appear from what? Surely man did not evolve from a lower animal? Is it purely emotions that drive the Christian experience of shouting and the Holy Ghost dance? Have you ever thought of supernatural power? What, who, brings the rain, snow, thunder and the flashing light in the sky? Can man bring the rain, can man change the seasons?

Pardon me, but we note a word to the wise. The world is in great trouble and confusion. However, if man could do all things, we would be in bigger trouble. Man would sell sunshine, rain, snow etc. He would also destroy the world with his greed for money and power. Thus, if man really had the Power of the Creator he would have destroyed the world long ago. Think about it? Is it so difficult to perceive the lust of man for money and power? Thus, if he had the power to change, the seasons' he would only change them for his friends and those that paid him the most money. Of course this would constantly change and in the process humankind would cease to exist. Just think about this power in the hands of Hate-Mongers. Aren't you glad, happy and overjoyed that God exists and is in control? Even the atheist and agnostics and Hate-Mongers must see the logic here. More than 90% of those that say any last words have the Creator on their lips, is that right. What will you say?

We believe that God is not only real but, He is alive. Thus, God is very angry with the defilement of the churches throughout the world. Again who has allowed Satan and the world in the church? Will the Preachers and church leaders stand up? Sadly many Preachers and church leaders are part of the problem, but why?

We have noted several crucial attacks on the Black church in this series of articles. However, the impact of Rap and Hip Hop music on the church is one of the most serious attacks on the church. This attack is very serious because it is also destroying our youth. Most if not all of the Rap and Hip Hop music is a negative influence in the Black community. Nevertheless, when they bring this music into the church, it becomes ungodly blasphemy and a high crime against God and the church.

We will briefly look at one of our intellectual's giants for some historical background information on music in the Black church. E. Franklin Frazier, "The Negro Church In America," here Professor Frazier discusses a topic entitled, "The Negro Adopts Christianity to His Experience In The New World."

Frazier argues that the slaves found in theology and Christianity a new orientation to the world. Thus, he adopted Christianity to his psychological and social needs. Frazier notes that the old Negro Spirituals were songs in which you would find the peculiar social and psychological needs of slaves revealed in song.

As we digest the previous statement, we note that the Negro Spirituals eventually paved the way for the radical Gospel music. However before we move to the impact of Gospel and Rap and Hip Hop we note another crucial statement noted by Frazier.

In the following statement we see an on-going pattern to confuse, distort, manipulate and exploit Black creative art forms.
"In recent years there has been some efforts on the part of Negro intellectuals, encouraged sometime by white radicals, to invest most of the spirituals with revolutionary meaning or, to claim that they represented disguised plans for escape from slavery."

The FreedomJournal argues that those that have very little knowledge of God and the unbelievers have few if any skills to interpret Negro Spirituals. We also argue that the Bible is a book of liberation. Thus, the Black experience rendered a natural attraction to the aspects of liberation and freedom as noted in the Bible. However, the slave masters often suppressed these feelings and emotions of liberation. Nevertheless, they did not destroy these feelings.

      Frazier adds to our discussion:
“The sacred folk-songs or spirituals were essentially religious in sentiment. We are aware that the Spirituals and folk-songs have undergone changes which make it impossible to know what they were originally. We are also aware of the interpretations which often reflect the biases of whites. We know that some songs were composed for special occasions and, therefore cannot be understood completely outside the framework of a particular time and place. Nevertheless, the sacred folk-songs express sentiments regarding the life and death of the Negro. These spirituals also reflect on the complexity of this existence and his desire to escape from the uncertainties and frustrations of this world."

There are several key words in the statements made by Frazier. His use of the word sacred and the phrase "religious in sentiment" are very important. We argue that it is for sure that the original music in the Black church was sacred. In fact no church should allow anything but sacred music within its walls.

As we continue this series, we see that the world and Satan challenge sacred music in the Black church. Why have Black Preachers allowed the churches throughout America to become dens of sin? Have these ungodly Preachers promoted the commercialization of the church? How can the singing styles of the streets and nightclubs also become a part of a religious experience? How can any Preacher have the nerve to allow Rap music sung by ear-ring attired, backward ball-cap wearing confused youth into the church? Have these Preachers gone crazy or has Satan compromised them with money?

Sacred Music Challenged: Spirituals/Gospels vs. Contemporary Rap & Hip Hop

      0 Not allowed! Not allowed!
Greetings: Do you have to believe in God to know that the music in the church should be different from music played and sung in nightclubs? What Demons have possessed the church leaders, who allow secular music into the church?
Those that have been under the Word should know better. IF YOU PLAY WITH GOD, GOD WILL NOT PLAY WITH YOU.

THE WORLD SATAN AND THE BLACK CHURCH

      (Ungodly Blasphemy)

Part 7: Sacred Music Challenged: Spirituals/Gospels vs. Contemporary Rap & Hip Hop

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

We continue to pray that Almighty God will grant us the wisdom and knowledge to know the just from the unjust. Therefore, we are committed in this Christian journey to distinguish good from evil and God from Satan. We bear witness that much of the contemporary Christian music is blasphemy and ungodly.

The contemporary influx of so-called contemporary Gospel and the Rap and Hip Hop music brought into the church is Satan. When we say the world and Satan in the Black church, we note that Rap music is a leading example. Our youth that have the potential to know God are now being exploited by greedy music moguls and low-down money-grubbing Preachers and church leaders.

In our previous article we discussed the impact of the sacred folk-songs called Spirituals. Our historical framework for our discussion thus began with Spirituals. A discussion of Gospels is our next topic before we attempt to qualify the negative impact of Rap and Hip Hop.

However, but, before we move our discussion to Gospels we will make an additional note on Spirituals to keep us in focus. Also we note that this brings up for review a different viewpoint than the view earlier noted by E. Franklin Frazier in his work on the Black church. Joseph Washington, one of our contemporary writers in Black Theology published, "Black Religion, The Negro and Christianity In The U.S.," in 1964. Professor Washington offers the following comments on Negro Spirituals:

"Spirituals lie outside the Christian faith, precisely because they were expressions of religious fervor, related to situations of struggle which ended in 1890. As expressions of religion, rather than faith, some Negro Spirituals were songs of protest, unacceptable and thinly veiled forms of protest against the conditions of his life."

Professor Washington also notes that Negro Spirituals involve African rhythms. He also notes the Biblical relationship of Spirituals to the King James' version of the Bible. In the following statement Professor Washington seems to subscribe to the Black intellectuals noted earlier by E. Franklin Frazier who interpreted Negro Spiritual in a revolutionary sense.

"In addition to the African rhythms as a mode of expression, there are four fundamental elements without which Negro Spirituals are not fully appreciated. These four elements are the cataloging of historical events, the various forms of protest, the individual and personal reflections, and the worshiping expressions."

As the journey of the Black man and woman continued in America, Black music also developed. Gospel music like Spirituals were a result of the Black experience in America. In all cultures you have creative art forms. It is for sure that the particular conditions of oppression have had a great Influence on the creation of musical geniuses in the Black community.

You cannot adequately discuss Gospel music without noting the impact of Thomas Dorsey. Brother Dorsey was born in 1899 in Villa Rica, Georgia. As the son of a Baptist minister he also was introduced to music and became a child prodigy. C. A. Tindley who wrote hymns was a great influence on Dorsey.

Dorsey combined the musical sounds of his environment and developed Gospel music. Thus, from his upbringing in the church he went from Blues, Jazz to Gospel. We also see the fusion of circus songs, vaudeville tunes, hillbilly ballads and the popular revival hymns. For a while he was involved with the careers of some well-known Blues singers, like Bessie Smith and Ma Rainey. However, he always stayed in touch with his church and his religious roots.

Dorsey came back to the church in 1932 and started writing Gospel songs. When he lost his first wife in childbirth in this year, he was inspired to write one of his greatest songs, "Take My Hand Precious Lord." Dorsey has inspired and has been the inspiration for countless Gospel song writers and Gospel singers. Although there was a fusion of various musical art forms that went into Gospel, Gospel music has always been a sacred testimony.

For the record we note that many people during the Depression who first witnessed Gospel had negative thoughts. The fusion with Blues, and Spirituals was new. Also the tempo too many people was up-beat. However the FreedomJournal declares that Gospel music further reflected the Black experience. Therefore we would be remiss if we did not record that some contemporary Gospel music has been a further development of the creative juices that often overflow in the Black community.

However, all of the contemporary Gospel is not sacred. Also, we see that onslaught of other purely secular music invading the church. Thus as we continue this series we hope to make some analysis of these music art forms that we view as a negative impact on the Black church. The following framework of analysis has some utility in analyzing this problem. We see several things that one has to include in an evaluation of contemporary Gospel music and more especially Rap and Hip Hop. Lyrics are very important. So is style of dress. Also, the movement of the body. There is also a need to evaluate the musicians.
