People say that Obama has not done any harm to Afrikans???????? Even if this isn't enough, wait till he's (maybe) elected. You can't be President of America Inc...and not directly or even indirectly cause harm to our people. I'm sorry, but he's no brotha of mine, not with the company he keeps.

Barak Obama has to be backed by somebody to even be where he is. If he was Fidel Castro, he would not be in the position he is in today...so its clear and obvious that he is not a socialist revolutionary or an African warrior...and I don't know how many "conscious" people/groups/organizations would not be aware of that.

So Barack Obama is no suprise saviour....but, I can say that he is our brother. The ballot or the bullet ALL THE WAY. If there is no one to vote for, no one can make you vote. Hold your vote, and hold your noise about who voted for who.

No president, be him black or white or brown or a woman of any color or non-color, is the ANSWER to our problem.

So who is backing Barack is backing the anyone who gets into the presidents chair. I think it is very important to be clear on that. Rally against voting for Barack Obama and any other human being that is not working, justly, for the people....

And Sis, I don't think you can LIVE in america without doing harm directly or indirectly to the people...mainly our people. Forward to Freedom through Pan-Africanism.....we need our own land.

This is my first time hearing anything about this group, seeing the person doing the speaking and hearing of the chairman she's talking about, still, am I suppose to automatically disregard everything she said just because the group she represent seem to be heavily White influenced?

First of all, I'm old enough and wise enough to know that there's no such thing as a complete lie. A lie is merely a distortion of the truth. Meaning that whatever the lie is and whatever its structure, it has to have some degree of truth or it has no foundation therefore making it totally incomprehensible to the person(s) receiving the information.

Now, maybe she's full of sh*t and the organization is about b***s***; still, there's alot of facts she did drop, especially about Obama. So, as Omawally (sp.?) Clay told me, "you always unite with the truth, if a person is telling you something that is 90% is b***s*** and 10% is correct then you just get down with that 10% and only that". Like I said, I don't know anything about that group. I do know that there are many White controlled organizations within the Black-community as well as in other areas. This is definitely nothing new. And she may be doing what she's doing in the video under the orders of those who don't really give a damn about us. Still, if you think Obama isn't under control too then you gotta be outta your damn mind. The bottom line is to honestly weigh all the facts and she damn-sure dropped plenty. That's reality, deal with it.

I overstand what you are saying Sis.

I just don't get down with this Obama cat, and just don't consider him to be a brother of mine. I mean, he is a brother, but not mine I guess I should say. It's one thing to be unwittingly apart of the destruction of your own people indirectly. But Obama is a smart man who I'm sure is completely aware of the dogs he sleps with. I posted the video mainly for the part on Barack Obama and who he's connected with. I guess everyone here is aware of all this. Nuff said.

To be clear, I would never endorse Clinton or Mccain. I just think all the candidates should be scrutinzed, and Obama isn't an exception. As you said, all these candidates are back by the same folks, and none are the ANSWER to our problems.

Am I worried about Obama's personal safety, not as much as I am worried about his presidency or any of the candidates preidency for that matter. Obama is handpicked by these elites, I believe Obama when he says he has the best protection.

To be honest Black, I don't know much about this group either, but trust that I am doing some research to see what it's about. A brotha I know showed me this link, and told me about this group the APSC, which is supposed to be a group of whites people working under Afrikan leadership (The Uhuru Movement) in solidarity with Afrikan Liberation.

I went to a INPUDM convention a while back and was surpirsed about how they ran "business" Penny Hess was there and she felt no need to speak to any black people other than Yeshitela.

My thinking is if you are on the side of the people and want to gain the trust of the people you talk with the people. NOT go off in a back room and talk about how much money you are making from this get together.

More so than that the whole meeting was about money not about what we are using the money to do for the movements and organizations but the money PERIOD. No planning, trying to understand what is the most pressing issue of the people of certain area's around the country.

Just because you speak a good game about change if all you do is walk around real issues when we bring them to you or just attempt to ignore a question about "What are we going to do about (such and such) You lose credibility to me and if you are trying to get people on your side you might want to relate to those people.

From that point on I suggest you do your own research on them as a whole.

If I am not mistaken, it was Malcolm X who said (paraphrasing): If you want to help us, truly help us, go into your own communities and organize them against what they have been doing to us.

Its important to take that into consideration.

A while back, on this forum, I posted the question asking whether or not Bro. Malcolm was being serious or expressing sarcastic humor, as he often did. One person said that Bro. Malcolm was serious and one person said that he was showing the people that whites would not organize or make organized efforts against themselves. Because, ultimately, that would be suicide (of their nation).

And that is not to say that there aren't any self-sacrificing white folk out there.

I have read "Overturning the Culture of Violence", by the Grace of God. The information was not "liberating" or "to excite liberation" for black people. This could be because the book was put together by Penny Hess, based on the ideology of Yeshitelism, through research and study done by the APSC. So, the book might have been for white folk...and if it wasn't made to be for them, I surely know that it was not for me.

Also, I learned that this brother is an ?African Internationalist? And his program says that ?African Internationalism? is the key, or something like that. Along with the idea that poor people, the proletariat, needs to organize himself to free himself.

To me, personally, nothing is wrong with this idea and if it is used for a sincere effort to free our people...then, let it be. I do not support the APSC, directly...but I know that if I support our people and a gang of our people follow Omali Yeshitela who is a leader for the APSC, well then...I support them indirectly.

With that said, I do not plan to join nor judge the efforts of these people. I know what we have tried and understand and accept the efforts of our people in the struggle. Even if the organizations Omali Yeshitela lead were token-ist or elitist, they serve as catalysts for struggle. Gives our people ideas on how to organize...if anything.

All praises due to God.

I believe we must fight the good fight...know who we are and what we won't accept.
