| She's finally here!!!
Peace... Hey fam...it's been a while since I've updated all of y'all on my daughter's arrival but she is finally here: Akili Elewa made her very vocal appearance on Wednesday, 6-4-08 at a whopping 8lbs 5 oz and 21 inches long. She was in NICU for a couple of days for swallowing feces while she was in the womb (after I had a C section to deliever her and two and a half days of inducement and several hours of regular labor) but she was in and out of there in two days and we were able to go home two days after that. Now she is almost three weeks old and is already trying to hold her head up and can turn herself around in her bassinet onto her stomach...and has the lung capacity of an opera singer I swear fo God she does LOL. But my lil Leapfrog is healthy and strong and finally here. I have pictures but I have to figure out how to turn them around (they are on a CD ROM from Walgreens and they put them on backwards or upside down or something like that). Once I figure out how to operate that and post it the right way yall will see pics of my little one. I just wanted to drop by, update yall, and thank yall for the concern for me and Akili... YQ
