I too felt that Blood Diamond only showed what White people wanted to see in a film about Africa...the negative.
Not the whole negative the cause and complete effect but the negative that keeps the effects of it going. They portray the image of power hungry corrupt black men turn evil white men into heroes. Worst of all they only tell the part of the story that they can swallow without seeing themselves as the devils they are. Like all things, until we do it ourselves it ourselves it won't be done right
