As for my opinion about what he said, I hold the same position as I usually do. I agree with his main assessment of Obama although I don't agree with every single point he made (I strive not to deal in "absolutes").

• The fact that we are a messiah prone people and how that is one of the games that is usually played on us by others (check out one of my earlier posts A TRAGIC TIME IN HISTORY (warning: disturbing audio) ).
  
• The fact that Obama just virtually appeared out of nowhere in a puff of smoke and damn-near everybody is ridin' his jock.
  
• He called Obama the new Mandela (LOL I like that sh*t).
  
• The fact of how we're usually observed around the world as a subjugated people and somewhat outside of whatever the United States does now turned around to where we are viewed as being in full partnership.

These are very valid points.

However, I disagree with his analysis about mixed-breeds (especially since his complexion isn't exactly pure black either) and a couple of other things.

BTW, from you bringing this Brother to light, I got a chance to check out his other videos . . .

I loved this idea as well, thats something i have not really thought about yet. And its important. The international image of Black Americans as oppressed people and first victims of the US, that have nothing to do with what it does, its goin to be viewed different by some people now.

My daughter has the same complexion on as this cat...which isn't pure black either...but I know both my daughter parents are black as my parents are black, my grandma is too. And then again, if you are a product of the Afrikan Maafa....more than likely, you go something in your heritage that was not voluntary. You know that the sexual assualt on enslaved Afrikan women in this wilderness was commonplace and a means of domination, creating the different hues we have....I know you don't need to be lectured on that point. Malcolm X was also this cat's complexion...don't let that deterr the message please!

But he does have a point. History is best qualified to reward all research. Remember it was traditional for the Greeks to take a wife (usually of royalty bloodlines) from the land of the newly conqured land and make a child, and raise this mixed child in the GREEK TRADITION....who would one day inherit the seat of power in whatever country they invaded. The Hebrews also did this starting with Joseph....remember he took a Kemetic wife (who was also of royal blood)!!!!!!! Now I aint saying all mixed people are under the same said umbrella....but this is how the agenda of the people doing the oppressing have historically advanced among their opressed!!!!! Just some food for thought.

A lot to discuss here. But family is family and the rapist has never been a daddy or a father or a family member. I dont ever remember anybody in my fam ever introducting me to any white so-called relatives despite all the hoopla about somebody being married to Mr/Ms Shay. So what's with the (pure black?) color theory of racist collaboration when Alan Keyes is blu black like Savimbi like Gatsha Buthalezi? I perfectly understand the historical political tactic of using "mixed" people to conquer their father or mother's people. But even thought we can make some relations to Obama case, i dont think any serious analysis made around this issue could go too far. As Langalibabele said, there are also a lot of dark pure Black traitors and bloodsuckers BlackFaceWhiteMask type of puppets. And if Obama would be one of there will still be All the other much more important factors to take into consideration not to follow him/trust him. So lets focus on those instead of using weak arguments that divide us and that help to alienate our lighter brothers and sisters.

You kno I repudiate the color theory of racial confrontation. Plus, the idea of "pure" in a human being used as a category to separate him/her from another human? Sounds like the Third Reich.

It's not a question of black or white, to turn a phrase, but one of clarity. This is not to say you are wrong, but that we are struggling over clarity, the clearest POV, which must also be the broadest to win the most people to our cause without shedding our Pan Africanist principles. It is possible that you are correct in what you say or believe, but that is not the broadest theory, it may be logical yet non-dialectical. Your ability to be self-critical is a your best asset, and not what you think you kno or think I or anyone else knows, and that is what will allow you to reach your greatest potential as a Pan Africanist. That is enuf, struggle will give you clarity, my brother.
