I wish I could be there, this should be interesting. My position stands at a crossroad! I think it could serve as a catalyst for revolutionary action. Some of our folks I feel will experience shock and awe! Mr. Obama will have to yield to the real powebrokers of Aryan supremacy and imperialism! It is also a negative in as much as some will feel that we have "arrived". The truth is we have arrived unfortunately the location is more of a "Hell" because to some of us it will look like "Heaven"!

LOL Exactly, as far as people arriving in hell and thinking they are in heaven. I agree this is a pregnant moment for revolutionary action. There is potential to move Obama in a positive direction if there is a movement among the people to push him there. At this point no such movement appears to be evident or remotely on the horizon. Fascism will need to be very careful not to antagonize the people any more then they are and to continue the illusion that Obama's election alone represents some kind of panacea and signal that "we have arrived". The role of the revolutionary is to smash that illusion.

Tehuti, my concept is that any movement will not be met with just resistance from the power base of Amerikkkan Politricks but also Obama himself, who wisely serves this power base. I say wisely because as his Grandma in Kenya says, "Barack is a clever boy!" A wily character he is indeed but unlike B'rer Rabbitt and Anansi, Barack Obama is pro the shitstem. Unless this is the biggest con game in human history and he is actually a revolutionary (Which I highly doubt), then Obama works for this system and he will react to all stimuli based on that system's needs!

I doubt our folks will do anything. The euphoria has paralyzed far too many.

What may end up happening, however, is a complete implosion of the white "left". They may provide the spark. We'll see what develops.

The Obama election is a dangerous illusion in my eyes. IT IS "PROOF" for all of the "I Love America Knee-grows" that "we have arrived, and have finally been accepted" by white amerikkka. Unfortunately for the vast and ovwerwhelming majority of us, because of our "instruction of containment" the idea of being accepted by and included in amerikkka is our highest goal. We are easily and most willing to forgive and forget what these monsters have done, are doing, and intend for our future, if they would only accept us as amerikkkans too! Because we allow our enemies to set our agenda for us, we have collectively decided that being allowed an opportunity to fix massa's broken house is a goal the we should aspire to and that our son's should look up to. If the field of psychology its called "the Stockholm Syndrom" where long term kidnap victims begin to develop a closeness and affinity for their captors and begin to identify their captors issues, image and interests as their own.
For those who saw the movies "Glory" which took place in the 1860's and "Soldier's Story" which took place in the 1940's, even though the time periods are 80 years apart the goal of the Black soliders was exactly the same: to be fully accepted as amerikkkans; and their method for "proving" their acceptability was exactly the same: sacrificing their lives in order to "prove their worthiness".
We don't seem to fully comprehend that as far as white folks are concerned, the only reason God put Black people on earth was to do white folks bidding or absrob their violence and aggression. So sacrificing our lives for amerikkka or doing anything else in service to amerikkka is in the minds of white folks, simply fulfilling what god put us here for, and in NO WAY should qualify us for inclusion, acceptance, or anything other that what a master owes his dog in return for food and shelter.
If anyone on this forum is in contact with the organizers of this panel discussion, I would like you to ask the organizers to tape this program. I can't come to New York, but I would definately like to see this discussion and would be willing to pay a reasonable price for the opportunity to do so.

That may very well be what happens but either way it works to our benefit. If the people push Obama toward the change he continually promised in his campaign and in response he orders pigs to gas & hose them then what must be the result? Will the illusion be smashed? Will the people EVER fall for a great white or black hope handed to them by capitalist electoral politics ? If on the other hand he is forced to work for the people then in either scenario the people win and capitalism looses. but either scenario requires a people's movement. which it will be up to the left to create.

Ill be there and Ill be takin family. Brainwashed or not. Ill talk to whomever is responsible for recording this when Im there. I expect a good discussion considering most of those speakers are pretty active in the movement. Even Councilman Charles Barron who chose YES is always involved in movements and always backing up independent organizations and rallies.
