Urban Gardening

Let's face it, the cost of groceries are rising. Especially the cost of fresh fruit, herbs, and vegetables. Fresh fruits and vegetables are essential in maintaining a healthy disease free lifestyle.

Many people who struggle to make ends meet cannot afford to eat healthy in order to maintain good health. We have to understand that we have to eat a certain way in order to avoid and combat life threatening diseases.

I have been thinking about this for about 2 years now. Every time I step into a grocery store grow angry at the high cost of fruits and vegetables. So I said to myself, "what can I do to get the nutrition I need without paying a high cost?" The answer was, grow my own fruit and vegetables. So I found a place where I can grow a garden, moved in and am starting my fruit, vegetable, and herb garden next spring.

This is something the black community should be looking into as well. Urban Gardening! Cuts the cost of your grocery bill and it provides the body with the chemical free nutrients that it needs. If you do not know where to start you can do a internet search for urban gardening agencies in your communities. Some will come out and place a raised bed garden in your yard. Providing the material, dirt, and seeds for a low cost donation. Anywhere from 10 - 50 dollars and sometimes free.

You can also plant low cost fruit shrubs and dwarf fruit trees in your yard as well. Even going as far as planting house plants that will grow fruit. Let's walk that road to better health and gardening.

http://www.eburgess.com

Eburgess is a low cost site where you can purchase quality plants for your garden. Fruit plants, house plants, dwarf fruit trees, shrubs, house fruit plants, roses, etc. I have purchased from them in the past and they have excellent stock with a year warranty. If your product does not grow properly in a years time, return the label and they will send out another shipment to you. They ship plants in its dormant state and ship according to zoning areas.

Good Luck, God Bless, and Good Health!!
