I would have to tell you to go back in the day, to the beginning. Listen to some old KRS1, when he was with Boogie Down Production, Mos Def and Talib Kweli , get you some Public Enemy. Common is another one that's kickin' the knowlegde. The few groups and artist that you've name is a very, very good start. That deadprez is all need really. LOL Uhuru Young Warrior! Welcome Home & What took you so long? |

In between some of the artsy and inquisitive lyrics Lupe Fiasco puts out some though provoking songs. His soon to come new album is going to be really political.

Peace A good person you can obtain alot of knowledge from, and he's a black historian, would be Nas Albums to listen to from him: 1- Illmatic- his first album, and it explains Knowledge of self-self motivation type album. good songs: World is Yours, It aint hard to tell, and One love4/5 2- lost tapes- This album just describes how your tipical black neighborhood is. Nas raps with so much imagry in this album.4/5 good songs are: Doo Rags, Black Zombie, and revolutionary welfare 3- the N-This album is like a five percenter and NOI album. really deep 5/5 Peace

| I like to mix in and listen to some real street soldiers, such as Scarface and Tupac as such (selected tracks). They give you a feeling of understanding of what you are facing out here. Paris is up there with the Dead Prez in my collection

| what else is in the teaches of peaches?
i remember back in the day when the only target was the white power police government and the only victim was the black woman and in between you had young black males runnin around outta control shootin each other... that was when that rap shit was tha bomb, where any lyrical word was scrutinize and changed for the easy listening of the white public.... but these days niggaz run around owning alot more then anyone had back in the day and still procede to fuck it up for everyone in the mainstream..... i still hear alot of negitives these days and it aint from the positive rap ballards, i dont have to pop in a tape or a cd anymore, i just switch on the tv, read a hip hop magazine on tha toilet and wipe my ass with someones image on it BUT on tha rizzle... when are all the black rappers gonna start turning on the hands that have feed y'alll for soo long.... teach the white rappin population to understand that Blackman Mentality... it ain't hard and it aint racist, it has been done once and history tends to repeat, if it ain't gonna be Fatal Hussein, then he is going to miss out on the boat that is in dock and some younger punks will have to come along and FUCK it up again for everyone... hear me muthaphucca'z peace |
