| Tyler Perry (MEDEA) Message
Hoteph Beloved Ones. MY Spirit honors your Spirit. A messgae from Tyler Perry (mEDEA) __________________________________________________ _____________ I have never in my life seen so many people support a movie like this and neither has Hollywood. The critics talked about it like a dog, but you all went to see it and made all of them SHUT UP! Can I say thank you for that? I am happy to say that this movie was #1 this past weekend and continued to be Monday and Tuesday. So thank you. It was you that made that happen. I need to tell you, the enemy is busy. So please lift me up as I know that so many of you do. Prayer truly changes things and will give me the strength to navigate through this fight I'm in now. Don't get me wrong, this is a great time but now I have the task of educating Hollywood about our audience. I am trying to help them understand that we want more films like this. One of the problems that I am having is that this movie is being bootlegged all over the country. I got the shock of my life on Saturday, after the show in Newark. I went out to take my bow and ask the people to go to the movies and a woman on the front row pulls the bootleg out of her bag and says "I got your movie right here". I was devastated! But I am so glad that for every person that buys a bootleg there are at least a thousand that don't. The reason why movies like this can't get made is because we go and buy the bootleg and don't go to the movie. All Hollywood cares about is the money. "How did the movie do"? So even though this movie is on the streets, please if you have not seen it, go see it this weekend. If you have seen it already bring somebody else. Thank you for not stealing from us. It doesn't just hurt me it robs us. I can't stress enough that this movie is for everyone. If there is a message you want to get across to your husband or boyfriend, or wife. This is the way to get them to pay attention. Diary of a Mad Black Woman is a great way to break the ice and talk about some subjects you may haven't been able to before. Diary is a tool of ministry. I promise you it can help. I know that many have been touched by this film, so many that Hollywood has been asking me, "who were these people that came to see this movie"? I told every reporter or studio executive I could, that these are the people that you all have ignored for years in Hollywood; people who want a good clean movie that they can laugh and cry and take their whole family too. So come on out this weekend. I feel that this is going to be a big weekend as well. I'm so glad that God gave me you. Remember it's not about who's in this movie but who's behind it.God Himself. Thank you for your time, and for being there from the start. I do and will always remember. Or I'm sure Madea will remind me. Be blessed Tyler P. P. S. Shemar, Kimberly and myself will be on Oprah on Friday, March 4th so don't forget to watch. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: newsletter02-unsubscribe@mytypeproductions.com For additional commands, e-mail: newsletter02-help@mytypeproductions.com goddess IsIs/Iya of Afrika |

Hoteph Beloved Tyree  My Spirit honors your Spirit. Thank you for the glistening nectar of your loving light...IT VIBES JUST RIGHT. Oh beloved, I truly understand your position on Tyler Perry (Madea). Beloved, we all came here to expereince all (5) dimensions in life (length, width, height, time, space). EXPERIENCES. Beloved, when we are the lien-holders of our own minds, absolutely nothing can contaminate it. No one is free until they have Mastered themselves (inner-self). I have seen all of the Tyler Perry's plays except three, and like anything else, there is a Profound message, even if it is one word, in what we watch/read. Beloved as Honorable Bob Marely said. There people who have the wrong right, right wrong, and there are some who just do not know. Beloved, some people do not know that they have ugly ways, and often times, plays like this show people themselves, otherwise they will not see themselves at all. A parent tells a child after they have acted up. Now go look at yourself in the mirror at your ugly ways/self, and once the child does see themselves, they straighen up. We are each others mirror. At last, comedy with no vulgarity. Now that is refreshing, and I also add some healing for those who need it. When we can laugh at our ownself, there is healing/theraputic. We must remain opened-minded for truths to enter in, for nothing can touch THEE untouchable. We all must continue to make the choices that best fit our lives. Here is loving you Beloved Tyree  Hoteph goddess Isis Akkebala/Iya of Afrika SPIRITUALITY IS MY IDENTITY/TITLE/CROWN Being Thee Change Afrikans/world Needs To See SIRUS STAR SYSTEM (SSS) INNERPRISE Afrika! What makes it different, Goddess, the previews look like some dreadfully appalling cooning (with or without cussing). Please share with us some specific scenes from the film and why they're important, asante sana!

Though I have yet to see the movie or any of Tyler Perry's plays, I hear the previews do not do the movie justice. Many people have said the "coonin" aspect of the movie is what is being shown in the commercials, whereas when you view the movie what you see is something alot depper... a love story. Mr. Perry's plays absolutely, positively never appealed to me, but this movies does and I will be checking it out. |

While I have yet to see this movie by/with Tyler Perry...I have seen all of the plays that he's done from the very beggining and I love them...they deal with real life situations set in humor, drama, and healing. I felt a lot of different emotions and not one of them was embarrasment about "cooning" A lot of different people act a lot of different ways in the privacy of our own homes and family and they were each represented here...in a exxagerated way, for humor. As far as a story line and what might be 'important' : one of the plays called : I can do bad all by myself. Is about Ma' Dea (mother dears) the Matriarch of this Family. Her home is the center of everyones help and healing much like our real families (as in Soul Food) and she's raising a granddaughter who is teenaged. The granddaughter is neglected by her mother (who has always thought that having a man was first proirity)..so much so that she is having a relationshiop with her sisters recently divorced) husband. Her daughter, due to her negligence ends up pregnant (which is not a part of her new mans plans) and he gives her an ultimatum. He her new man is her sisters ex-husband) A muslim who has the misguided idea that a woman should be seen and not heard. She brings him to Madeas house , where her sister (still going thru the pain of divorce is feeling and feelin quite unattractive) is staying...til they get married. Her sister (the divorcee' and unbeknownst to her) has the attention of a 'ex-con boarder' trying to do the right thing with his life... But surely he couldn't be interested in her, he's an excon and years younger !! Enter the next door neighbor who says he is "saved" and DOES have a good heart but tends to be a little confused in his follow thru... All that, and add the truly gifted voices of the singers... who each sing a solo... and the stage is set. Through the tumultuous trials and tribulations of this family you are able to see how, though each one is a diffent personality, they each grow to understand that the best thing they have going for themselves is each others love and respect. And thats all thats important... not the different things they were in pursuit of. Beside the fact that Tyler Perry is a man playing the part of a woman ( which seems to bother some people) I feel he is a black man that has worked hard in his partcular field of interest (creating a whole new subject matter) He went from peddling his tapes litterally door to door to now Hollywood made movies...taking lots of people along with him. It's entertainment... and I feel it has a temporary place...in our busy hustle and bustle, 'important" lives. Might sound strange ..but in the past (during the course of my life) I have supported other (caucasion) actors and producers...(who I know nothing about so I am pleased to be able to assist Mr. Perry in his dream...

This movie makes black men and women look terrible. Hollywood loves these kind of movies. There is only a couple of images of the Black/African man shown in the media (white national propaganda machine). 1. So called thugs 2. Gay 3. Sorry and 4. White Nationalist. This movie shows number 3 and 4 (as many so called black movies do i.e. Soul Food, Baby Boy, Waiting To Exhale, Disappering Acts, Tyler Perry movie Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Menace to Society, etc, etc) and I'm kinda suspect of Tyler as #2. This movie is shows black men like Baby Boy, Waiting To Exhale, Disappering Acts, and all the other bullshit that is on TV.

| Therapy anyone?
Greetings all, My name is Joanie and I'm a Recovering Afrikan amerikkkan. I am also a Represetative from the Voices in the Margins. It appeared to me the movie depicted an exxaggarated view of the current self-destructive behaviors Folks of Afrikan Descent (FAD) and those surviving in poverty. I must admit, I am known in my family as being "too serious" when I expressed contempt for movies such as Barbarshop. I laughed, cried, applauded and felt the joy and peace of new found love. My work (fifteen years practice as Social Worker/Family Therapist) with FAD (and others) surviving in poverty. ISIS comments are right on the money in terms of an individuals abilty to look at themselves. That is what "recovery" is all about. Luciano said, "Its a good world and beautiful people but some brothas gotta change there ways, Its a good world and there beautiful people but some sistas gotta change their ways. I worked long and hard in the trenches where dis-ease shows up in abuse on all levels, substance dependence, etc..., while continuing to live those same experiences. About a week ago, I shared an entry from the diary of this MAD (Mother of African Descent) black woman. Although there may be vast differences in peoples experience of rejection, lost, shame, etc... the FEELINGS are the same. It is these FEELINGS, or the stifling of, I believe, which serves to support the continued self-destructive behaviors in what is billed as our most sacred relationships, family and close friends. Therapy = Identifying the thoughts and feelings guiding ones behaviors and increasing the likelihood of sharing ones experiences, strengths and hopes in relation to others. A therapist is one who simple listens and "reflects" your thoughts, feelings and behaviors allowing you the opportunity to see yourself. You are then in a better position to chose to think, and behave in a way consistent with your description of yourself. (does this make sense?). Enough for now. Thanks for allowing me to share |
