started to use this in an discussion re use of "Black" English or Pidgen English as example of how we b following yt's lead in attacking use of n.i.g.g.a.(h) etc. For a very long time yt's been struggling to get us to learn, speak & write Standard English, i.e., his way of fuk'n over language, ever since he peeped our ancestors communicating in spite of different dialects. Its said him not know that the then spoken West Afrikan languages had Woloof, e.g., as its lingua franca(sp?). He knew enuf to try to destroy its existence! Anyway this sista was a leader in fighting for us to determine what to speak at home and elsewhere. Its like she was saying fuk yt and wrote entire plays using what some called Black vernacular. One other note, each year Black folk have sista Phyliss Wheatley pushed on them to idolize; probly not knowing she was a leader in using Standard English and never Black English. In other words bum rushing us to become American Negroes. That was late 19th Cent. and Bill Cosby is one of its relay runners.

BTW I met Kwa the other day. So in my prayers for safe journies for u all, I giv thanks in changed words of Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong: I watch the youngsters grow; they'll know much more than I ever knew! Y'all're sumptin else. Grounded and Focused!!!

well, me, i'm not for any kind of whitey (the language or the beings) but i prefer the Blacker version of it to the whiter one.

Black whitey is cool as a stepping stone...even Afrikan languages as they are now are cool as a stepping stone to move towards an Afrikan language of liberation...
