Greetings! ImHotep! I read in brother John G. Jackson's, "Introduction to African Civilizations" that Kemet had definite astrological signs/symbols that pre-dates the greek ones so in use today.  Kemetic GreekCat RamJackal BullSerpent TwinsScarab CrabAss LionLion VirginGoat ScalesCow ScorpionFalcon ArcherBaboon GoatIbis WatermanCrocodile Fish Knowing that imagery shapes thought and thought shapes behavior, can it be That Africans (globally) that are unaware of our historical perspective in this regard are actually acting outside of their true astrological natures? I'm looking for scholarship that espouses the science of our ancient true symbols of astrology. Does anyone have any information or leads that I can follow? Searching Crocodile, Asante sana!

Greetings! ImHotep! I read/pondered the posts in the Kemetic Astrology thread. I even vistited the 'Egyption Astrology' website. Our ancestors did not refer to Heru as Horus, nor was Ausar (Asr) known as Osiris. So my original question/concern still stands: If our current interpretation/imagery is skewed how can we truly know ourselves not to mention seek guidance via the tools of astrology (cosmology)?
