Herman Bell denied parole -- again.

It's with great sadness that I report this bad news. It appears they
plan to give all our political prisoners no way out. Because if
anyone deserves to be paroled after 33 years, it's our dear comrade
brother Herman. He has been one of the most productive role models
insofar as developing his mind, body and spirit to continue to serve
the people both inside and outside of prison. But of course he's
exactly the kind of Black man the powers that be do NOT want in our
communities.

We have to step up the struggle to free our political prisoners,
domestically and internationally, and it must be in concert with a
revitalized liberation movement.

Awww.This is heart breaking to hear. An Afrikan will never get justice in this system. They would rather keep collecting money off our brother instead of giving him an opportunity to use all the skills/trades he has learned while in the enemy's camp.As long as the prison industrial complex exist our brothers will not be liberated from this injustice. This brother has already served 33 years in prison and has been a model prisoner so we see they talk all that prison reform but never give you an opportunity to show the comunity the changes you have made.

Also, I am of the belief that the parole board does not take into consideration the many phone calls, demonstration, and other avenues we use when "petitioning" them. Becuase it makes no sense for people who have gained so much support in the community to be just dismissed like they did brother Herman.

i cant believe this people,i sent letters to the bop and parole board for sundiata and herman altogether,maan,i cant believe dem at all,i know that my letter to sekou odinga came back and they neva send my letters to ojoro lutalo

I got a letter from brother Bell today but the letter is dated March 22. Yall already know what I'm going to say...so I'll just leave that alone and focus on the issue at hand.

On a good note media outlets have been contacting him about doing a tv show about his case, and he recently did an interview for this program. He had the opportunity to met some actors(Afrikans) which has brought him some excitement in his days behind enemy lines.The show well be on in the next month or two ( but like I said it was dated in march). I will be contacting sister Nancy Bell to get the footage and see what we can do about getting it available to the fam here.
