You Can Help
We can save Troy, but it’s something we can only accomplish together, with your help. Here are four things you can do to help save Troy Davis from execution.

1. Write a letter to the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles, asking them to grant Troy clemency.
2. Tell Chatham County District Attorney Larry Chisolm to petition for withdrawal of the death warrant for Troy Davis.
3. Participate in our #TooMuchDoubt social media campaign by making Troy your profile pic on Twitter/Facebook, and tweeting from the hashtag #TooMuchDoubt.

Regardless of what one 's feelings maybe toward the NAACP it is clear that they have resources that can be marshalled in situations like this. Resources that we who question the NAACP have not developed. In this instance it makes sense to use them. Especially when a life is at stake. Also, it is important to take note of the presence of at least two blacks on the parole board because they bare more of a responsibilty in this than the long dead founders of the NAACP.

AJC reporters are inside and outside the prison, in Savannah and with Mark Allen MacPhail's family members as the hour approaches for the execution of his convicted killer Troy Anthony Davis. We will provide continuous updates here as they happen.

11:25 AJC reporter Rhonda Cook and other media witnesses report that Davis addressed the MacPhail family directly from the gurney and again proclaimed his innocence, asked mercy for those about to kill him and asked his friends and supporters to continue working to get to the truth of officer MacPhail's death.

11:08 Davis pronounced dead.

one must grasp the history of these various organizations to comprehend their motives and functions... these organizations (naacp, core, sncc, etc) were born of our oppressors for the purpose of directing us black folk away from our economic and political power and toward civil rights- where no real power exists. this is why we are forced to beg organizations that appear to help us but in reality do not. this is also why we have such a difficult time when we go into business; we have groups who are actively opposed to our economic self sufficiency which in turn is why we are burned down and out... i.e., rosewood, tulsa etc...

also, the 'blacks on the parole board' are only there because they are a couple of mammy made, hanky head, mealy mouth, weak kneed ass kissers... if they were independent thinkers who make certain that black folk are treated fairly THEY WOULD NOT BE ON THE BOARD.

i challenge you my dear brotha, to identify exactly who the naacp has gotten off of death row or out of prison since their inception. i maintain that the purpose of this organization and others like it do not function for the benefit of africans notwithstanding their speech.

we can petition the supreme court and other agencies of white supremacy all we want. one victory in 400 years and we all forget the 399 previous defeats... and the next 399... this is a result of conditioning- accepting the b.s. that we have been fed (piss down our backs and call it rain). the alternative is to opt out of their 'government' and form one of our own and decide for ourselves who lives and who dies. that is power!
