WinXP Pro: Broadband Tip


There is a tweak which can help speed up your broadband
internet connection if you are using Windows XP Professional.


- Click Start, Run.

Type “GPedit.msc” and press enter.

Expand the “local computer policy” branch

Expand the “administrative templates” branch

Expand the “network branch”

Highlight the “QoS Packet Scheduler” in the left window

In the right window, double-click the “limit reservable bandwidth” setting

On the setting tab, check “enabled”

Change the “Bandwidth limit %” to 0

Close and reboot.
