Question:

I could talk to my friends online using a headset microphone on my old computer but not on my new one. What can I do?Answer:
First, make sure that your mic is plugged into the correct hole (it's usually pink).



Next, make sure that your Microphone is not turned down or set to "Mute".

To check this, double click the speaker icon down in the system tray (next to the clock). This will bring up the control panel for your sound card. make sure that the mic is turned up and "Mute" is off.



Once everything is plugged in and set correctly you should be able to talk online with friends again.
