Greetings Tech Advisors....
What if anything can be done to rid system of a Trojan Horse Virus?
Akpe for allowing me to share
just for the record, i have done a internet search. most sites offer free downloads which 'scan' puter for virus. I don't need a system scan ...i need something to repair.
also, so sites offered spyware downloads which may repair...and this is where it gets tricky for me. I'm fearful of downloading stuff not knowing it will turn out to be more trouble than is worth.
so my question is for folks who may have had to address this issue for themselve or know of software, by name and possibly cost, what will actually work to rid puter of the trojan horse virus.
the software that i am running is not able to repair it.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
the best way (depending on which trojan horse) is to do a virus scan. If you don't have a virus scan program for starters you can use AVG Anti Virus (www.grisoft.com) or go out and buy McAfee or Norton.
