Black power is the ability to righteously educate one's self and others despite the manipulated, polluted, and tamper evident amerikkkan educational institution. Black power is a form of self expression. It is a sense of self esteem that lives inside of a true konscious King/Queen. Black power is resistance of a government which practices oppression and subjugation. Resistance of a government who prey on the weaknesses of people world wide. Black power is the fight that lives in me. |

Black Power means strength and pride in our culture, knowledge of self and our ancient heritage. It means freedom of the mind from mental slavery & unity of our people.

READ THIS POST: More on Black Power “What is Black Power? By Black Power we mean the power of the four-fifths of the world population which has been systematically damned into a state of underdevelopment by colonialism and neo-colonialism. In other words, Black Power is the sum total of the economic, cultural and political power which the black man must have in order to achieve his survival in a highly developed technical society, and in a world ravaged by imperialism, colonialism, neo-colonialism and fascism." "Black Power epitomizes a new stage of revolutionary consciousness of the yearning and aspiration of the black man. Since the black man is the most oppressed of the races of mankind, Black Power, therefore, is the struggle for the possession of the ecnomic, cultural, social and political power which he, in common with the oppressed and the exploited of the earth, must have in order to stampede and overthrow the oppressor. Unless we are prepared to do this then we are prepared to be enslaved." Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah, Message to the Black People of Britain"

Expediency asks the question: is it political? Vanity asks the question: is it popular? But conscience asks the question: is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor political, nor popular - but one must take it simply because it is right." --Dr. Martin L. King |

Black power is what it is, a catalyst, pan-africanism is the desired result. However, pan-africanism due the effect of psycho-social enslavement is too big a pill to swallow for many of our descent. We need an invokation of the revolutionary mentality, we need power to be us naturally, power to chage the things that aren't us, and the power to prevent the contamination of our culture, more importantly we need the power of nationhood. WE NEED BLACK POWER
