Spirituality: The first reason for a racial creed and code is to present a program of survival for our race and to combat the unrelenting daily assault on the Black psyche as we unite with one another and with our Creator. A creed is a formal confession of faith and belief in ourselves. According to Marcus Garvey,”Faithfulness is actuated by a state of heart and mind in the individual that changes not. No one is wholly faithful to a cause or object, except his heart and mind remain firm without change or doubt. If one's attitude or conduct changes toward and object, then one has lost in ones faithfulness. It is a wholeness of belief overshadowing all suspicion, all doubt, admitting of no question; to serve without regret or disgust, to obligate one's self to that which is promised or expected, to keep to our word and to do our duty well. There are but few faithful people now a days.”“A code is a systematized body of laws rules, statutes and principles governing our personal behavior. Garvey said, “It is only the belief and confidence we have in a God why man is able to understand his own social institutions, and move and live like a rational human being.” “Take away the highest ideal---faith and Confidence IN A GOD—and mankind at large is reduced to savagery and the race destroyed.”With our racial creed and code firmly in our minds we will combat the daily assaults from white supremacy, institutional racism, feelings of Godlessness, low-self esteem and inferiority complexes designed to corrupt Africans at home and abroad's sense of racial unity, pride, cohesion, ability and loyalty to each other and the Creator.
Politically: The second reason we need a racial creed and code is the daily assaults that molds and engender self-doubt, self-loathing, the character of self-hatred and distrust among our race says that we can not be independent because we can not govern ourselves, because we cant cooperate with each other. This is designed, unless prevented, to destroy our race to a point beyond recovery after this next generation. Our racial creed and code when used in our homes, schools, neighborhood, community, nation and world wide among this next generation will assure our survival.
Economically: The third reason we need a racial creed and code is that these assaults on our race insinuate that Blacks admire, respect, and trust only whites which makes us take our money to white stores, our savings to white banks and investment companies, our housing plans to white Realtors, our driving plans to white car dealers and then take those cars to white gas stations, our eating needs to white restaurants and grocery stores, our information needs to white news papers, teachers, radio and TV stations, our travel needs to white buses, ships, airline companies and travel agencies, our reading needs to white books, book stores and web sites, our security needs to white police officers, armies, navies and air forces, and our creative ideas and inventions to whites which all combined, prevents our dollars from circulating one time in the black community and through black hands.
Psychologically: The fourth reason we need our racial creed and code is to help us defeat false evidence appearing real no matter where it comes from, be it through news releases, in magazine articles, radio, television, press releases, documentaries and false census reports. We will then successfully combat psychological manipulation propaganda making it ineffective in destroying our group’s ethical and moral values. Our racial creed and code will allow us to understand the negative messages and then be able to refute these negative and derogatory messages with example of our races achievement and ability in peace and in war.
Relationships: The fifth reason we need our racial creed and code is it will allow us to remove any deficiencies that prevent racial self respect, love of self and racial loyalty especially those deficiencies that makes us find beauty in white skin, long pointed noises, blue and green eyes and long stringy blond and red hair. We will no longer become so besieged by deep feelings of inadequacy that we think of unity as an impossibility. We will no longer see only the fraudulently worst in ourselves but see the best in ourselves from ancient times to the present through our racial code and creed. We will no longer except or be influenced by the immense campaign of false derogatory misinformation and false negative media reports and statistics about our noble race abroad or in our motherland Africa. We will no longer except the myth of Whites’ racial, moral, and ethical superiority over us in any area, be it child rearing, fidelity, faith-fullness, honesty, virtue, conduct, integrity or courage again in peace or in war. All for one and one for all.
Crime and Violence: The sixth reason we need our racial creed and code is to combat the perception of our race as lazy, shiftless and criminal created by the taunting white propaganda, will no longer be able to consciously or unconsciously influences us to see the only solution is imprisonment of our youth. No longer will the negative messages make us grow weary and paranoid because our creed and code will eventually come to refute any negative assessments of our race so once again we will see beauty and perfection in ourselves. We will resist divide and conquer. In other words we will no longer perceive ourselves as distrustful of each other, doubting ourselves, hating ourselves and, eventually, stop the pathology and fighting among ourselves. Our Racial creed and code will eliminate these negative cultural values that have become the acceptable, inevitable norms presently in our homes, neighborhoods, communities race and nations with regard to violence, brutality, drug and alcohol abuse and sells, pimping, domestic violence, rape, child abandonment and abuse, drive-buys, car-jacking, burglaries, robberies and senseless shootings and murder and replace them with racial love, solidarity and faith in ourselves.
