National Million Woman March

Greetings:

The National Million Woman March observed its 8 year anniversary (Oct. 25,
2005) with the announcement of plans to hold the African Women's World
Summit in
Oct. 2006.

Over the past several years, The MWM Organization has worked consistently
and diligently, in Philadelphia and nationwide, to uplift women and girls of
African descent and to strengthen Black families and communities. MWM has
sponsored many successful projects and activities that assisted in the
further development of the original MWM Mission as well as the preparations for the implementation of its extensive international program.

The Million Woman March National Organizing Committee is now accepting
applications for new 2006 Coordinators who wish to work in helping with the
AWWS and other relevant activities.

Though the AWWS will not be held in Philadelphia, the MWM National
Headquaters will remain and operate from there for the time being.

One of the first MWM/AWWS "Information and Organizing" Meetings will take place on Fri. Oct. 28, 2005 7:30PM at the Mantis School located at 4522 Baltimore Ave. (in Philly).

The African Women's World Summit will enable Black women from the entire
African Diaspora to sit down (for a three day period) with the intent to
begin the necessary process for mapping out a strategic and progressive plan (mandate and agenda) derived from a global African Women's Delegation and Collective,to assist in bringing about substantial socio-political change and stability in a more effective and timely manner.

The Million Woman March' s World Assembly will officially initiate, worldwide, The Million Woman March Universal Movement (the first global Movement for
Women of African descent) and with that the Million Woman Movement International Program for Power, Peace, and Prosperity
