| Support MOVE August 8/9
The MOVE family will be presenting the film on the August 8, 1978 confrontation between MOVE and this system at Clark Park. This will be on Friday, August 8th at 7:00pm. Clark Park is located at 43rd & 45th Sts between Chester and Woodland Aves. August 8th marks 30 years of unjust imprisonment for our MOVE family and they were just denied parole since they wouldn't lie and say that they are guilty when they're not guilty. Come on out to see the film and get updated on where things are at now. Also join us on August 9th at DC1199C at Juniper & Locust Sts. for a joint program on MOVE and Mumia---Ramona ========= ONA MOVE, Everybody! Sorry for not responding to those of you that have emailed me recently but my computer was down and then our phones went out. I will be answering all the emails that have backed up on me as soon as I can. Anyway, we're back in action online. Mark Aug. 9th on your calendars for MOVE & Mumia. We're doing a joint program at District Council 1199C which is on the corner of Juniper & Locust Sts. in Phila. starting at 12:00pm. We want people to understand how critical a time this is for both The MOVE 9 & Mumia. MOVE will be focusing on the recent denial of parole for our family members and what we must all do at this point to save Mumia's life. Come out to get an update as well as find out what you can do to support the principle of freedom and justice. We will be sending out more details as things get nailed down. Take care and stay strong---Ramona

| Updated version!
via: icffmaj@aol.com ============= With the Third Circuit Court of appeals rejection of Mumia's 'en banc' appeal, it's clear that his remaining hope is with the people who recognize a legal lynching when they see one and will speak out to give voice to our collective outrage. Time after time, courts from the state to federal levels, have bent or reversed their own rules to block Mumia's access to the appeals process, and then reverse the rules they made up for Mumia's case when another case comes along. Despite the objections of Third Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Ambros who wrote a 41 page dissent from the other 8 judges, in July this court illegally went against their own case law to deny Mumia's latest appeal. On Friday and Saturday, August 8 and 9 two important activities are taking place in Philadelphia to get people involved around Mumia's case and those of other political prisoners and death row inmates. At 7pm on Friday, August 8th the MOVE organization will screen the film "MOVE" in Clark Park at 45th & Regent Sts. Members of the MOVE 9 have been denied parole after 30 years in prison because they refuse to express "remorse" for a crime they maintain they did not commit. On Saturday, August 9th, a Community Forum and Organizers Meeting will be held from noon to 6pm at 1199C Union Hall on Locust Street near Juniper. Join the organizing meeting with Pam Africa, Ramona Africa, the Reverend Al Sharpton, Attorney Michael Coard and many more. For more information on these events or other ways to get involved call 215-476-8812. _______________________________________________ The Power of Truth is Final -- Free Mumia!
