Understand the understandable is my wish for you
Study the world and soak up the knowledge of life

Watch out for lies and be ready to sub-in some truth
Live your life in peace still at a moments notice unleash that beast
Be kind and loving but hold on to a bit of hate
Because in a world of haters that feeling can be very useful when it comes to change

Honor your families and protect our children
Avoid smoke and drank also watch out for the stank
Selling or using will never increase your brain bank

Focus on freedom because you ain’t free yet
Be on guard even with your squad be this nation runs with the mob
Read a book and take notes understand the limited power in votes
Yell for what you want and demand what you need while never being afraid to bleed

I do this for you
I say the things I do because they ain’t new they just need to be heard
I read what I read because you may not
I speak what I speak because you understand why I say it
