“We need to make the black youth of this nation feel that it’s better to be an
Entertainer of Athlete then a doctor or lawyer”
That’s what this nation wants for us
Their hopes and dreams of us
Is to live and die and be seen
Be good looks and great music
High jumpers and fast runners
Running backs and point guards
Home run hitters and million record sellers
Rap acts and movie Bozacks
While eating hog malls and fat backs
Asking KFC to sponsor our family get togethers
Fuck around and die trying to get better
After spending our lives soaking up propaganda
Black man under cover gay
White man for black woman she can’t get no better
Straight black man thief liar and bad father
Black woman hoe slut and multi-baby mother
Black child mold for the choke hold of media’s lies
Little black girl don’t take long to break shy
Little black boy die never being a man in their eyes
And all this goes on under so called black leaders watchful eyes
That too is of no surprise since many are sent as spies
Redirecting movements to investments
Spending cash for white gold replacements
After they take the non-profit kick backs
We buy into a “Negro” fund that few benefit from
Where in college knowledge become secondary
When studying for a good job is the primary goal
So is nobody reading because it fundamental NO MORE
All the while I hear the songs play in the corners of my mind
Titles redefined with time BEFORE I BE A SLAVE
I hear screamed from beyond the grave
Telling me to stand speak and write for something more than fame
But do it for a reason make enlightenment your life’s mission
Never wait for their permission to speak
Because your hand will be cut off long before your call on to be
A leader of your own
The spook behind the door
Bring rise from below
So write for a reason
And let your actions be the story told

"Straight black man thief liar and bad father"
This is the line that caught my attention the most. Well written and to the point very nicely done.
"Be an innovator not a duplicator!"
"Only thing I gotta do is stay black & die"
"Educating, edifying and inspiring the lives of afrikan people throughout the Diaspora."
"Some people talk about Change, Some people make Changes happen."
