Calling All Africans
Calling All Africans
Its time to wake up
time to rize & shine,
time to step off
the back pages of history
& take yr rightful
Place in the world
As a force for planetary
Peace & justice.

Calling all Africans
Calling all Africans
Time to get up
Time to rise
Black man/Black woman
& embrace yr Africanity
its time to cast off alien
ideologies & foreign
deities. It’s Time to move
toward mental clarity
We are Africans, not
Dark-skinned Europeans
Rockin blonde weaves
struttin in disco boots.

Time get up Africans
& Wipe the stupor from yr eyes
Time to break the chains of mental slavery
Time to sever the bonds of psychological captivity
& step into the knowledge of
Who you really are
We are the sons & daughters of Mother Africa
Whose loins gave birth to all humankind
our seed? scattered across the
Continents like stars across
The heavens.
Its time to get up Africa
Time to rise &
Shine like the beneficent
solar being our ancestors
Called Ra. We must rise like Amen Ra.

Calling all Africans
Calling all Africans
Ifya hear me holla
Time to regroup
Time to reconnect
Time to come 2getha
& Unite the Black World
This is the real hook up yall
Everything else is mere child’s play
Like the pointless chatter of silly Negros
With or w/out college degrees

Where my students at?
Where my real students?
Where my deep thinkers at?
Time to chant down Babylon
Time to study Garvey
Time to read Nkrumah
Time to learn from Cabral
Time to act like Ture
Time to let go of Europe &
save yr Mother

Where my Nubians at?
Where my Ibos?
Where my Yoruba?
Where my Asante?
Where my Fulani?
Where my Mandingo?
my Zulu & my Gikuyu?
Time to Get up, yall
& Unite
Don’t get it twisted
No matter where you come from
if you a Black man
Yr an African
If yr a Black man
Yr an African
If yr a Black man
Or a Black woman
Yr an African
& only Black World Unity
As a concrete manifestation of Black Love
Will save us from the devil
Yeah I said the devil, him real &
Livin large in Paris right behind the Eiffel Tower,
but he don’t speak French. He speaks
American.

Rise Africans & Unite
Across oceans of ignorance
Rise Africans & Unite
Across mtns of CIA manipulation
Rise Africans & Unite
Across generations of miseducation
Rise Africans & unite
Across the religions of yr masters
Rise Africa
Rise & unite
Yr children are hungry
& you must feed them.
