Between fiction and fact

Between fiction and fact

This was written to "The True" a song by The Knux. If you name a song "The True" You NEED TO TELL THE TRUTH........so I did it for them:coffee-n-news_3:

Between fiction and fact

It's got be white it's got to be black
There is no middle between fiction and fact
You can't believe a story and call the truth of it a lie
You can't scream pro-life but care less whether children during a war live or die
How can you be for Revolution but scared of revolt
How can you be for change but your only step forward is a damn vote
You know you've got to stand up and fight for what's needed
At times put your body on the line and risk bleeding
We're in need of liberation
We're in need of a power shift
But you can't get that mission complete if you don't even compete
Or say what needs to happen and be part of the action
Talking about burying words and forgetting the use of verbs is just a big distraction
You sit there and wait for the war to be won
But while your waiting the cause is getting lost
The focus is being changed and it's all being done in your damn name
It's no longer just about being white or about being black
Yet there is still no gray in the area of FREEDOM and the LACK
