Still in awe, still astonished, still humbled made low like a beggar, sweet and pure like our children and grandchildren and their children,
strong like the will of Dessalines, Hatshepsut, Tubman and Garvey,
made wiser like ancestral legacies that to this day embrace my dreams, and conquer my weakness, I am bound to you like a faithful servant, I am loving like the God in me covering you ,

these praise and worship songs are in this day and forever for you alone, for you alone, for you alone I am screaming at death and destroying that fury held in his hand for you alone I see 7 recognizing the Goddess giving you the fruit of knowledge your wisdom brings forth understanding in the 9 making born the weapons of war to decimate pale enemies, and yet your tears giving life to my children and their child bearing power to grow, power to heal, power to teach… for you alone,

Kenya, every mountain a mere road block toppled every valley a simple on to cross, a hop skip and jump, duck roll, Jordan roll, rivers that roll and fill up our well springs gushing, rushing and pushing us into millenniums ahead of this next one, we got next baby, native son and the sun’s daughter dark and comely the daughters of Jerusalem are jealous of my love for you alone

for you alone would I give up my kingdom that I am building by my own hand. I would pass a camel through the eye of a needle seeing no point in doing otherwise, other worlds shall be yours, for I am building you a universe.
