Through the eyes of the struggle

Through the eyes of the struggle

Get up, get out and get it
Scream, demand what you need
Stop accepting what you want

That's what it screams to us
Trying to get rid of us
The struggle doesn't want us
We want it since we keep it with us

What the struggle see is addicts to her drama
Our desire to know her and our need to show her
We say we wish to rid ourselves of her
Still we feel more alive when we have it

That's why we die
Lost within the struggle
Bleeding, fighting, as we struggle

Because we stay in it's eyes
Seeing the sight it gives us
The sites we seek to find it

The greed we think we need she gives us
This meaningless endless battle to have
When we have not even honored what we once had

So lets struggle on blindly as she tries to shake us off
Making us feel awful when we take her on
And be for warned when it lets us know
I see you think I'm what you want

But the struggle is not what you want to own

Usiku will become famous soon enough
This is a good, inside out viewpoint to help us question and make sure we're thinking clearly and proceeding properly.
