Much thanks for posting this poem by Brother George, Rebel Queen. For the most part, I agree with him. HOWEVER, I do have a couple of "beefs" with some of his words: "Do not ask me to cry -- tears are for the trembling and watery eyes anathema to the warrior (i.e. the enemy must remain in focus until the enemy no longer remains)" I agree that the enemy must remain in focus until the enemy no longer remains, but why should crying be see as something weak or un-"manly"? I think that a man should be man enough to cry when he feels the need to. I'm not saying that a Brother should go around crying about EVERYTHING, but if it is a particular situation, I sat, why not cry? Crying is a good cathartic way of releasing pent up frustration and anger. With releasing that, you can truly focus on your enemy. "Do not attempt to domesticate me -- I cannot protect you with dishpan hands" Since when has washing the dishes been seen as a way of domesticating someone? A Brother can still protect those he loves with "dishpan hands"; if one really cares, having "dishpan hands" wouldn't stop one from protecting those that he loves. Other than those concerns, the Brother was on point. Thanks again. Peace.

Beloved QG rebelQueen, much loving to you precious. My Spirit honors your Spirit. Can a sister add a little flavor to this thread?. Thankyou. Beloved Mighty Warrior, King God, brother ThaAlchemist: My Spirit honors your Spirit. Belove TA, I Am in agreement with you. I bow to a man who can cry. It is an extraordinary humility for a man to do so. There is a time and place for everything, and crying cleanses. Is not tears water? Is not water knowledge? When one can cry a river, one can cross an ocean and rule a Continent. Not only is there a touch of madness in evry great man, there is a teardrop there too. A man who has DishPan hands, whether he is with someone or alone, is expereincing Balance. My loving to the men who do. If more men would cry more often, they will renew their strength. These are the men who's feet I will wash with my tears, and dry them with my hair. Here is loving Afrika. Goddess Isis |

Thanks for ya response and i have to say i feel u and i also agree with all that u said. When i read the poem tho i didnt take that part that way because i felt as if he was speaking to the enemy.. and i saw it in that context and only that context. When i wrote out "Reflection" ( i think you know what im talking about) i ended the piece saying that, "i thought about the fact that they will never see me cry and then i thought about the reason why." I was speaking to "them" the ones that which for our demise, the ones who swore i could never be who i am today. But at the same time im an emotional rollercoaster... I CRY and i think its necessary for all of us at times. So as i read the brothers poem i saw him speaking to them rather than us...But with that said i definately agree with u and sis Goddess regarding balance, we need that and the one i thing i realise when it comes to our people is that we give each other all these labels and all these positions and roles and we ask each other to play it. By doing this we give birth to effects of unblance. Ex, men dont cry, be a man, women are homemakers. So yeah i can feel u here and u know i sincerely appreciate your commenting on this and taking the time to read so thourougly.. i believe your words are definately something to pay attention too.

Beloved Mighty Warrior King God brother Arbol_Rasta: My Spirit honors your Spirit. I bow to you. As the other half (womb-gender) of my brothers, and knowing we will not succeed without each other, because there will be no harmony and balance without each other, I request permission to speak again on this thread. There is POWER in tears. If we had more brothers to experience this type of humbleness, letting go of the (EGO) Evil Going On inside of them, they can path the way back to Afrika mentally and Spiritually, crying rivers/oceans of tears that will part the SEAS of madness within, so we can walk on the Still waters, tears/crying does to the soul, back to Afrika. There are so many Passages we must go through before we come back to the way were (Divine Deities-gods/goddesses), and I know the freedom in tears/crying. I have One Afrikan Continent Tear Drop left now, and that Tear will be Dropped when I set foot in Afrika, when I kiss the ground of where I left my heart. Cry my brothers on the Afrika woman Breast of Understanding. So that you can stand on the Shoulders of Afrika, where the Queen goddesses wait to wipe your feet with their tears and dry your feet with their hair. Here is loving Afrika Goddess IsIs |

Give me a man who is not afraid to cry, and I will take him back to where he was born (Cosmically/Universally) speaking, his Celestial self. A place he is now searching for, that he longs to never leave. Awe! What a difference a Tear makes. Here is loving Afrika Goddess Isis |
